David Woon4Communication was good, timely. Good explanation of process that was not immediately clear to me. Loan process was secure other than the latter part when new processing teams were introduced, the communication protocol may shift, that can throw you off if you're not aware who they are. Be super cautious when transmitting any documents. Use their documents portal at all times.

Real Estate1Leo said he'd have a good rate for me. But then after he pulled my credit the closing costs increase 1k and then 1k when it came to rate lock. Now that Loan depot forced me to pull my credit, I am asking Leo to give me a pre-approval, but he's no longer responding. Meanwhile I got almost daily calls from retention center telling me rates went down, yet when I asked them to use my file, they didn't seem to have access, so what did it come down from? they wanted me to start a new file with them?

al g lin1Everything was fine in the beginning. I gather all the paper work and paid for the inspection of the property. My credit score was over 740, and I have good stable income. Weeks passed and I was patient. Then at the last minute, they told me I need to show a reserve fund of over $15,000 in the most recent two months of my bank statement. Last year, I took out a home equity credit line with another property. I have over $230,000 in the credit line that I can withdraw from. So, I started putting most of my paycheck into the credit line in order to reduce the interest, and I only keep enough money in my bank accounts to pay all my bills. But LoanDepot would not use my credit line as reserve fund. Thus I could not qualify for re-financing. They did not tell me in the beginning of my application about reserve funds in bank accounts. I was totally unprepared for that. After over a month's work gathering all my papers, and they told me this. Really disappointing.

henry garcia1Unfortunately during my refinance process the loan officer assigned failed to express any effort in helping me successfully refinance my house. Closed the door on me very quickly and had failed to reach back to me multiple times. I had to reach out to a different lender in regards to my refinance needs in which I was treated more like family and sadly I'm currently financed with loan depot and didn't get the same treatment. I'll be refinancing my house with a different lender and I will never recommend loan depot.

Judith Edmundson1The supervisor was great and so was the notary. The appraiser was incompetent and had to revise the appraisal. The rate was very good that we received. The rest of the staff did not return calls. Josette was horrible not reading her emails and following up. Edgar stopped returning my calls when I needed his help.

Bruce Smith1The loan officers working with me are friendly and fast. As for the rest of the orginization not so much. Everything seems to be driven by greed. All Customer Care/Service is a joke no authority to do anythin xcept apologize. I feel like if I was stuck in front of a speeding train Loan Depot will watch the train run over me. Mediforaclly speaking.
