  I've been with Liberty Taxes for over 10yrs. Each tax year, the preparers were able to get me a refund.. II can only remember only 1 yr I didn't like the outcome of the refund, I didn't know that you will be charge for each 1099 form that you bring in to file. 1 yr. I brought in 4 forms and noticed a big difference in my refund, which also taught me a lesson not to borrow on my 401k so much, it may hurt you in the end when it is time to do your taxes. This year is better. Yes I would refer my friends and family to Liberty Taxes.

  Just like every year the IRS always gets crazy but the people at liberty Tax’s always makes you feel comfortable and always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you very much Ms Katie for your time and help. And making me feel very comfortable. Really love you guys in the Paxton location thank you again.

  Met with Katie , She did an amazing !!! I would recommend her. Definitely coming back next year for her . And she educated me the entire time and helped me with all my paperwork since it was my first time filing business and personal tax

  I'm going to be complete honest. I thought they were expensive for as the filing fee. But the one year I tried to go to turbo tax. I was miserable my taxes was messed up and got it months later. Liberty tax on Paxton street has patience and will explain why everything is the way it is. I been going there for five years and will go there for the rest of my life if I decide to reside in Pennsylvania for long term. I don't know the manager name but she made sure she runs a professional and tight ship there. No cap !!!

  Today I inquired about how much it would cost to file my taxes and was told it would be over $400 because I have a child and will get the child tax credit. What kind of scumbags run this place? I will definitely never come here and will tell everyone I know how awful this place is

  The fees come from how many forms are populated in the software. Each form has an expense attached so therefore someone filing single with one W2 will have less forms than someone who is head of house hold claiming children. Nothing to do with child tax credit. Hope this clarifies how the fees are generated.
