Devin Adams1My boss makes his checks out from liberty bank, so I opened a account almost a month ago. No problem cashing checks in person. I deposited my most recent check through there image deposit on the app. My check has been on hold for over a week. When cleared it will be a total of 10 days. I've cashed the same checks there 3 times no issue. The checks are all from his account there. My money is on hold, I have bills to pay and I couldn't even bring in the check and have that check deposit from the app be canceled. So thanks for keeping my money for whatever reason. You have all my personal info, social and my boss has been with you guys forever and my check gets held and I recieve no help. That's just crazy. Terrible experience with a bank I just started using.
Response from the ownerHi Devin, When a customer is new (for the first 30 days), we may hold checks up to 5 business days, but if you bring the check into the branch we are happy to override the hold to ensure the funds are available immediately when the maker has accounts at Liberty. Meryl Fichman1When this branch first opened, the people that worked there were GREAT! Very friendly. I moved out of the area and haven't been back to that branch in a while. I recently went there and let me tell you how RUDE the tellers were. I walked in and they both stared at me like I was interrupting something. The woman I worked with was chewing her gum and smacking it as she talked to me. She spoke with such an attitude as the other teller just stared at me.. I ended up taking my things and saying I have to go.. I would NEVER return to this branch again!!!!!!
