  Don’t waste your time with this company. The absolute worst and ruined any Hope I had in any lender as a first time homebuyer. Everyone with this company lacks customer service, and there is no communication at all unless they are telling you that closing has been pushed back or that you are denied for the loan. My closing date was pushed back twice with only two day notice! I left voicemails, and lengthy emails expressing my frustration and I only got a response when my realtor reached out. If I could give zero stars I would. This company is not worth the headache, nor stress. Do NOT go through Lennar Mortgage/Eagle Home AT ALL. Fast food restaurants give better customer service than these loan officers assigned to your file.

  Preston Shay who was our loan officer from Lennar Mortgage was outstanding. He went out of his way to help us close on our home,now remember they were closed the whole week of the freeze so that put them way behind. He squeezed us in so we could move in. He new we drove 2000 miles to get here and it was costing us alot of extra money, and everyone at the title company was also outstanding and very professional. So when you need to buy a home buy it from Lennar and you will get treated right.

  Hannah Medinger was absolutely amazing! Her professionalism, her patience, consistency and kind hearted approach made me feel very welcomed and very valued as a customer. She called me consistently to check on my progress and answered all questions I had and she went above and beyond to assist me in the homebuyer experience on the Mortgage Lender side. I am very satisfied with her professionalism.

  I wish I could say it was a positive experience working with Eagle Home Mortgage Loan but it has been far from that. Throughout the process, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone. I would send emails, leave voicemails and have to get in contact with the realtor to receive a call back! We called weeks before closing to get a time and were told the day before our closing date that it was being pushed back two weeks. We were sent Closing Disclosures thinking that it's finally moving along to hear it's being pushed back and still weren't told if we were approved or not. I don't recommend working with Eagle Home Mortgage. Save yourself the trouble and find a different lender to go through.

  As a REALTOR, my name is on the line when I recommend a builder or any other participant in the home buying process. Lennar is a good builder but their incentives are tied to their lackadaisical and unprofessional mortgage company. They simply don’t recommend using their mortgage company...when you are building a home, it is not like you can’t see the train coming down the tracks for MONTHS. There is no reason that closing should ever be based on a builder’s own mortgage company. Buyers deserve better. UPDATE: We finally got this one closed but it was painful. If you must use their Lennar's Lender, start pushing hard 1 week out from closing. Pushing to find out what documents they will need and making sure they are reviewing the file before the last moment. Their loan processors are not local to San Antonio so there is a time mismatch so take that into account. Don't be afraid to work their chain of command to get things moving if they seem to be stalling out.

  Eagle Home Mortgage of San Antonio made financing a house so much easier. They were on top of everything and helped me close on my new home on the same day i closed on the home i sold. Everything ran so smoothly with Kaleb and Sandy at Eagle Home Mortgage. They were so awesome and handled everything in a timely manner. I recommend Eagle Home Mortgage for your home mortgage needs.   I don’t know what’s wrong with this company and pushing peoples closing dates back but you guys need to get your heads in the game. They have made our first time buying a home SUPER stressful. I wish I could write a good review but then I would just be lying to everybody else. Our closing date was scheduled for TOMORROW, (November 13th) and then they decide to call us 2 days before closing (November 11) saying that our file got “suspended” when it had already been approved and that they had to push back the closing date again for the “SECOND TIME” to (November 23rd) to see what they can do to get the file approved again. We had Joel on our case who helped us get approved and then somehow 2 different other people were assigned to work on our file and now all of a sudden we’re not approved?? Don’t do that! Don’t tell us that we’ve been approved, have us go to the walkthrough for the house getting us all excited about moving in and then telling us days before closing date that we didn’t get approved after all.. you guys just get peoples hopes up for nothing. I wish I had read these reviews way before anything started.. now I have to wait another 2 weeks to see if we get approved for our home or if they’re just gonna push back our closing date again for the THIRD TIME!

  BEWARE!!! Stay away from this company! They are not a transparent company and it will be a nightmare throughout the entire process. Lennar owns Eagle Home Mortgage and CalAtlantic Title so you will be paying all three companies and they will not communicate with you. At closing you will learn that they share your information with other companies (probably to get even more money) and there is no way to opt out or refuse them sharing your info. Loan officers are hustlers and will talk around your questions in an attempt to confuse you and not answer honestly. I've purchased 3 homes in the last 9 years and this was not only the worst lender but worst experience at closing that I've ever had.

  My loan officer does not communicate well and has made my first home buying very stressful. Here is a message I texted him today. I bet I won’t even get a response back from him. Joseph, You have not been helpful in this process that should be an exciting one rather than a stressful one, but that is all you have made me feel. I know the Lennar house is just beginning to be built and my questions may not be as important to you because you have other homes that are closing, but you are my designated loan officer. I did not choose you, you were chosen for me and I have to put all of my trust in you because I am your customer. You have not shown any type of customer service that would have me recommend you or your company. I too work with people and if any of my students parents have questions I am always available to answer day or night because their children’s education is in my hands. I hope that you can change your attitude towards your customers because I can say that you have not been available to us. -Joanna Martinez

  Recently purchased a home from Lennar, Eagle Home Mortgage is there partner company. Less than a month after signing for the home they have already sold our account to another company and we have been provided with no information on making payments or where to even get this. Our loan officer is no help, customer service is no help, we are less than a week from being due and no one cares to do anything. DO NOT USE this company when buying your new home, they don't care.
