  I just finished a very successful loan process with Laurie Lundin Stone. I have been in the real estate business for over 50 years and Laurie is certainly one of the most thorough , competent and caring lender reps that I have ever dealt with. I have not applied for a mortgage in over 20 years. The current guidelines in California and with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac for a self-employed person are beyond daunting and Laurie was incredibly professional and patient while guiding me through that process .   I cannot say enough about my experience with Laurie. I was terrified to jump into the world of home ownership. I told Laurie from the start that I was scared, that I'm bad at paperwork, bad at math and a 'creative but disorganized type' of person who was probably going to make lots of mistakes. Not only did she respond to my fears with kindness and encouragement in that first meeting.... she continued to support me, help me and walk me and my family through EVERY ASPECT of the buying process with patience, kindness, and loads of time and individualized attention. She always made sure I understood what was going on. Any time the process was confusing or overwhelming, Laurie took the time to explain, re-explain and sometimes explain again with patience and good humor.   Laurie provided me with exceptional service from beginning to end in the refinance of my home.   Our experience with Laurie have been great. She has been very professional and honest throughout the process. She was one of the several lenders we shopped for our re-finance toward the end of 2020 but the only one that not trying pressure us or called and nagging three times a day. Laurie was able to get us even lower rate than original quote she gave us because interest rate went down just before we secured our loan. She kept us inform of the progress periodically even during Holidays. If you are looking for new loan or refinance, I strongly recommend giving Laurie a call!!

  We would not let anyone else handle our refinancing! Laurie was our broker for the original mortgage for our home and both subsequent re-financings. In all three processes she answered all of our questions and was always available to hold a hand or break down some numbers. She has acted as an ally and has never encouraged us to do anything with which we would not be comfortable. With Laurie, one never feels sold-to, only accommodated and informed. We feel very fortunate to have met her!
