      This one's for you J. Ali. We drove from NC to VA to buy a car. We had some cash on hand but decided to buy a vehicle that was better than the one we planned on looking at. What to do next? Ahh! Go to the bank I guess? Justin Ali was sooo friendly, had a great sense of humor and an awesome haircut to say the least. He really did go above and beyond to get us the money we needed to purchase our new forever car (2013 Toyota 4runner) We plan to keep it maintained and driving for another 200,000+miles. Thanks for your help J. Ali

      You better conduct all matters with your accounts by Friday at 5pm. Members are basically helpless after that. Issues with anything over the weekend don't matter. And good luck if the Monday is a holiday. Payments and concerns are literally processed within the parameters of their business hours.

      The two branches on Taylor RD. and in Carrollton recently updated their ATMs and now they are EVEN worse than before. If your money has any kind of deep creases, folds, or writing on it, it won't accept it. Langley's response? Use the night deposit and it will be processed by 8 am the next day. This is a huge step backwards. I deposit my money after hours and would rather it be available immediately. Also the ATM was down Saturday night AND tonight. Not helpful at all! UPDATE: ATM HAS BEEN DOWN 4 TIMES IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS I HAVE TRIED TO USE IT. WHY IS THIS NOT BEING NOTICED AS AN ISSUE. THIS IS A WASTE OF GAS AT A BAD TIME TO BE WASTING GAS.

      I don't get all these poor reviews because myself and my boss (who also has a business account with Langley) have had nothing but very positive experiences with them these last few years banking here. We've made some good relationships with a few employees and managers who work at this branch, and they've gone above and beyond to help us. I personally received a car loan through them, and it was quick and easy and I've had no issues. Everything has been great so far and it's been the best bank I've been with.

      The branch is fine other than for some reason someone thought it was a good idea to do away with the drive through. Now everyone has to go inside. Its the call center that I have a problem with. 30 minutes to an hour is the normal wait time for human interaction. Unacceptable. When I call its usually a real issue I can go to the branch for typical business. Maybe its time to find a more available bank. branch.

      Do not recommend. I recently joined this credit union. Was told that I could not get a debit card until I set up direct deposit from employer, like whatever. Then I set up an appointment to get information about mortgage today at 12PM. I checked in and it took 22 minutes for representative Parijat Dey to call me to come inside. I advised her of what I needed assistance with, and she says that she can schedule me an appointment with a loan officer when that was the point of me scheduling first appointment. My entire encounter with the representative was completely unprofessional and I will not be doing any future business with this company. I waited 22 minutes for a 5 minute conversation just to be told that I can not be assisted.

      DO NOT use this bank. I paid for my son's soccer registration in February. The season was supposed to start in May but because of COVID-19 the season was canceled. I cant get in touch with the soccer team so I go to Langley and they tell me that they do not dispute or investigate transactions made over 60 days ago!!! That is absolutely crazy, this money came out my checking account!

      I had been a member for over 40 years at Northern Star C/U I switched to Langley and could t be happier. Northern Stare is under staffed I had a problem with my credit card being hacked the fraud dept told me the knew it was fraud but I had to pay the 1545 dollars, I'm getting ready to take them to small claims court do not recommend Northern Star Langley is far better quicker service friendly can't ask for better service.

      I love langley I only been with them for few months now and i have not had a bad experience yet fast services checks deposit on time great customer service everytime i go in the branch.. 5stars for langley from me

      I am very displeased with this credit union. I have been banking with them for 5+ years. I went in to cash a local check for the second time in a week. The teller took the check and went into the back office and came out and told me he could not deposit the check (which was only for $100) and it would be a hold on it due to my account not having matching funds. I have cashed several checks well over $100 with this credit union that I'm a member of and have been for over 5 years and NEVER have been told that. I asked to speak to a manager, i then asked to see the written disclosure stating that and she went online and printed out something that did not say anything close to what she wanted me to believe. The ironic thing to me is that ive cashed checks here and have never been told that and the checks were $1000's of dollars. It was also ironic that on my previous visits I was serviced by an African American and on this particular occasion this individual was a Caucasian individual. That is the only difference in this bank visit and any of my other visits at this location. I'm closing my account. I feel this was discrimination and intend to look further into this "matching funds" disclosure policy. (hilltop location, VA Beach, Va)
