      When I was buying a hours back in June I used great lakes credit union. They are so friendly and helpful. I could call anytime and they would answer. They knew how to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend them anytime.

      Horrible customer service at the Muskegon branch. So bad in fact, I am working on closing out all my accounts with LMCU, and I'm driving an extra 10 miles to the Fruitport branch to conduct the rest of my business, which unfortunately has provided excellent customer service every time I've been there. The problem starts with management, and there is a clear difference in the operations of the two different locations.

      Took my kid here to get a checking account. Even though they are only 14, the bank issued an account. The staff was very friendly and explained the process of having a checking account really well. There was coffee in the lobby..yay.

      This branch has the slowest service I have ever experienced. Plus certain window workers don't know how to acknowledge people.

      Been going here for awhile and normally love it and have no problems but 1 male teller I had never seen before (maybe new??) whom I just dealed with today put a sour taste in my mouth... not friendly or welcoming or inviting. Hardly said even one word to me. Pretty displeased and disappointed with this visi .

      omg ... I go in on a cold day ... and not only do they help me with all my credit union needs .... but hot coffee and tea ... hell yea ... great service ... great staff ... very knowledgeable and professional ... seriously .... if you want a credit union ... this one is perfect.
