  All I can say to the level of professionalism of this office is WOWZERS! You will certainly not be disappointed by choosing Kurt Goeser and his team for your insurance needs! I have never dealt with a better group of people in my entire life. They are an asset to the Lawrence community and the community is lucky to have them around!

  Full Disclosure: I am employed here. That being said this has been (by a wide margin) the best job I have ever had. My coworkers are incredible and Kurt has been both an ideal boss - and a selfless mentor for 5 straight years. We also have great coffee and cookies so stop on by. :)

  Unfortunately, I can not recommend going with State Farm with Kurt Goeser for a car insurance. I might be the one outlier in these reviews, but it is for a good reason. A year ago, among several choices I had for my first car insurance, I decided to go with State Farm with Kurt Goeser. They had offered me great premiums, leading to a reasonable cost for an international PhD student in the US. I decided to sign in for six months coverage for my car. Great. One of the premiums was related to a tracking device that monitors your driving habits. It monitors how many miles per day and at what time of the day you are driving, as well as your driving speed. If you are a well-behaved driver, this can only be good for you. The problem is, that said tracking device could not couple to my phone (A Moto G4 Plus, which is a fairly up-to-date phone in terms of sensors and software friendliness). I contacted the developers of the State Farm app. They said there is nothing I can do. So I contacted State Farm Kurt Goeser representatives, told them what the problem was. They decided to remove the premium and raise my car insurance price for over 100 dollars. I was already unhappy about this, since they were not willing to bear any accountability on the matter. Then, I noticed I was being charged on my account more than I was expecting (around 250 dollars). I sent an e-mail to representatives of State Farm about this, and I was told that "they had accidentally entered my age incorrectly when they computed my quote, which had initially brought the cost down". I did not like this at all, and asked them, how come I am the one who should be hold accountable for this and not them? How come I have to pay an extra 150 dollars for THEIR mistake? They shrugged their shoulders and apologized. After this, they urged me to pay this in less than a month. What option did I have? I didn't want to make this a bigger problem, so I just paid it, and once my coverage with State Farm finished, I moved with another car insurance company. In summary, I was very displeased with how they handled the situations: 1) Offering me a premium that does not work, which they then removed and charged me for; 2) Entering my age incorrectly when they computed the quote for my car insurance, which they only let me know AFTER I had signed the car insurance; 3) They did not take any accountability for any of these problems.

  Kade helped my wife and I with an auto refinance that saved us a ton of $$ both in interest and gap insurance. He was extremely professional, efficient, and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process making it completely painless.   I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. I moved an hour away and still keep this office. Amazing customer service. Whether you walk into the office or give them a call your treated like a friend and not just another customer. Times where they can save you money they always do, unlike other companies that just don’t tell you and hope you don’t notice. I can’t speak about other offices, but this one truly lives up to the like a good neighbor slogans! Side note, they are all great but I recommend you ask for Katie. (She deserves a raise! Lol) Ditch gieco, ditch progressive, and ditch any other online insurance with false claims and go here. You won’t regret it.
