      Brought our 2008 Honda Pilot into service department here for a passenger side airbag recall/ repair. Our glove box was stuck shut. In order to do the airbag repair they had to go through the glove box. The entire repair took less than 30 minutes WITH the airbag recall work. Service department charged us $52.50 for labor to get into the glove box. Told us they had to charge us a minimum of 30 minutes for labor to get into glove box even though they said it only took them 15 minutes to do. No replacement of lock for glove box they just tightened the screws. So essentially they charged us for 30 minutes of labor AND they will get reimbursed from Honda for the airbag recall work too. I'm fairly certain they charged Honda a minimum of 30 minutes as well for the airbag recall work. So both Honda and I paid for that 30 minutes of labor... nice double dip. After we pointed it out they said " if you want a zero dollar bill we can make that happen." We declined the offer. We didn't want a zero dollar bill we just wanted a fair bill considering you are already getting paid for 30 minutes of work. They also told us "the technicians had to get paid. " I agree they should be paid as the technicians have very specialized skills. However, when I work I don't get to charge two people/ entities for my 30 minutes of work. The kicker here is that we test drove a new Honda Pilot while we waited on the repair. We were almost ready to buy. Their $100 double dip cost them a $36,000 - $39,000 sale. Hope it was worth it Rhinelander Honda. We won't be back.

      My mother went to Rhinelander Honda to purchase a used vehicle as a replacement for hers that was totalled in an accident. She found a Honda Pilot that she really liked, but after a test drive she discovered the heater didn't work. She told the salesman when she returned that she would like this fixed before she purchased this vehicle. The salesman said they would only fix it if she bought the vehicle first. Discouraged, she left and purcased a vehicle elsewhere. I went back to Rhinelander Honda myself to give them a second chance. I wanted to look at what they had to offer for some decent used trucks as a replacement for mine. After 5 minutes of speaking with a salesman about what I was looking for, and giving my financial information to him, I was told the BEST thing I could do was stop looking for a truck because they hold their value too well and I couldn't afford one. The salesman immediately tried telling me that a car such as one of the used civics on the lot would be great for me. Apparently my telling him that I have things to tow, haul, and a need for off-road capability flew over his head. I walked out of the dealership to the truck i currently owned, and went to a different dealership a few days later where I purchased a beautiful pre-owned 2011 Toyota pickup. It pains me to think there may be customers driving around in vehicles that do not suit their needs because they were told they could not afford what they were looking for, or because the dealership had some random car on the lot they wanted to get rid of. I also wonder how many used vehicles on their lot have mechanical problems that are overlooked. A heater that doesn't work in the winter is hard to miss. Needless to say I will NOT be back to this dealership, and I will NOT recommend their service to anyone.

      The woman I left my Honda Fit with in the Service Bay was extremely helpful. She let me borrow a vehicle to do errands while waiting for the passenger side air bag to be replaced and for a complete diagnostic of the air conditioning unit. Although she tried calling me to let me know the cost of fixing replacing the Freon in my air conditioner is the same price as the diagnostic and couldn't get in touch with me, she made the wise decision in determining that I would choose to replace the Freon this time rather than having to return and being charged double. She probably deserves a raise.

      The service is ok but I am not pleased with the vehicle I purchased. This is the second time its been on recall. For the same thing, It was all right for awhile after the first recall and the same thing is happening again. If it can't be fixed I will have to return the vehicle back to you,

      After the problems we had in the beginning they really stepped up and took care of it they brought into the shop looked it over really good looked at all the fluids and did everything perfectly to ensure that our vehicle was running properly without even charging us except for the part that was needed the air filter just to make it right will definitely recommend Honda Rhinelander from now on

      Bought a used 2015 F150 from Rhinelander Honda. The staff was professional and courteous. I visited many dealerships and I decided to purchase here not only based on price. My salesman ,Joh Ertl, went above and beyond. I have a handicap and he took extra time to make sure I was comfortable and well informed about the vehicle. Because of how my family and I were treated our next vehicle will be purchased here. Thanks Guys.

      I contacted Rhinelander Honda VIA Facebook messenger about their recent incentive and asked if my situation would qualify and I was told YES! DEFINITELY! several times in our conversation, and After explaining in great detail my situation they went and ahead and scheduled an appointment to meet with Brad Paddock. Upon entering the establishment my husband and I were seated and within 5 minutes out the door and told they can not help us. Brad was rude and made me feel inadequate. His body language was not welcoming and quite frankly seemed irritated that I was even there. Brad also Stated he didn’t know why they would have told me to come in. Bummer.. There is a huge disconnect at Rhinelander Honda and my experience was just awful. When my vehicle is fully paid off I will be going back to Toyota where I have never had a bad experience.

      Brad Paddock made us feel good about our purchase, he was very good at explaining all the details about the CRV. I felt more comfortable at the dealership than I had at two other competing dealerships in town. All of the staff was courteous and efficient in getting the paperwork and car ready for us to take home.

      I recently traded in a 2006 CR-V and purchased a 2015 used Hyundai from Josh, Chuck, Eddie and Pat. I purchased this vehicle because of the quality of appearance and the experiences I have had with the Service Department. Tim Johnson and his group of service writers, technicians and detailers are first rate across the board. When they did maintenance on the CR-V and my 2011 Toyota Venza they were always right on schedule, completed the work quickly and correctly, then brought my vehicle back clean and ready to roll. I had a trailer hitch installed on the Venza and Paul and Julie in Parts had the pieces ordered, on site and installed within 3 days of scheduling. When I was looking to purchase the Hyundai, Pat, Eddie and Chuck answered my questions honestly, Tim gave me an excellent overview of the vehicles service history and eliminated any fears I had about vehicle quality. As a former small business owner myself, all these things added up and my feeling is that Josh and his entire staff are very professional and while selling cars is their primary concern, the development of relationships and building customer trust is their priority.
