Kitsap Bank Reviews

Kyran Riley5I’ve been in the Financial services/Banking industry for about 4 years with Business and Finance degrees from Cornell University. I had one of the top banking experiences of my life with Jessica at the Bethel Branch today . I made an appointment online late last night and was pleased to find out that there was availability the very next day .This isn’t the case for many other banks especially during the pandemic. My wife was with me during the account opening so she could be a joint owner and English is not her first language; it’s actually her third and she’s a painfully introverted person. Jessica was able to put her at ease and get her to open up . Mrs.Riley detests going to our other financial institution due to their stuffy and withdraw staff. After we left she praised the customer service and told me she’d come back without reservation. Professionally I coach other bankers and I don’t think I could have asked for more from Jessica in her technical abilities, knowledge or communication skills. She’s a total rockstar. Jackie the manager is equally fantastic. Just to add a PSA to based on the comments of fellow clients: 1)It’s federal law to positively identify your customer . Some institutions record ID information for every single transaction regardless of how long you’ve been a customer . This is to secure your account information and block unauthorized individuals from accessing your funds . This is an extra step for the employee and isn’t fun for them either. 2)A 5 minute wait is nothing at a bank I’ve heard and witnessed 30 minute waits and longer to see a teller . Getting your coffee often takes longer than 5 minutes. You can accomplish the majority of your banking at the ATM or online. If you insist on in person service then don’t complain about the person helping you since it will only increase automation. They’re humans , they have feelings and believe me they want to help you as fast as possible so they don’t get yelled at too . 3) research banking laws , policies and regulations. If there’s something you don’t like there’s a reason for it . Bankers are still customer service representatives and if they can morally make you happy they will. Thank you Jessica , Jackie and the rest of the team at the Bethel Branch for creating such a warm and positive environment we're glad to have found discovered the difference exemplified by Kitsap Bank !

Katie Karas1Went to this ATM today after pulling out money I circled around to get change since the ATM only gives 20’s I asked the teller for change she proceeded to tell me if I don’t have an account then I cannot get change. WHAT?! First I have done this numerous times and I just payed your freaking $3 ATM FEE! She was really rude and I would for sure never be getting an account their now for sure! She did say oh well since you used the ATM I guess I can give you change. Absolutely ridiculous.

Meg1Their atm stole my debit card because of it being faulty. I don't use this bank, but my bank card is also credit union and this is the nearest place for me to make deposits. The atm has a setting where it lets you count your money first and that it "gives you time." I proceeded to flatten my bills and stack them for about 30 seconds before it decided to steal my card. When I went in, they wouldn't give me my card back! It cost me a whole hour trip to silverdale to get a new card. This banks atm is janky and this place is wack.

C M3Negative issues: Waiting in drive through for at least 5 minutes, or more, every time, is a pain. Not open on Saturday (I know that now because I just drove there thinking it was opened until 2 PM on Saturday). Paying $8 a month for "fees". Having every new employee ask for my ID (I've been banking here for 19 years now) Positive thoughts: Most of the staff is friendly, but there are the ones who smiling .... seems to elude them. Good locations. My Bank is close to my residence. Clean inside & out.

Rap5I love and have always had positive experiences at the Kitsap Bank on Bethel Road South East in Port Orchard, WA. The tellers are friendly and go that extra mile to help you out. The managers make time when you need to see them. I can't say enough about how professional, yet welcoming, this branch of the Kitsap Banks is. I know when I go to Kitsap Bank on Bethel Road SE; I will always see friendly knowledgeable faces. The best bank for personal and business banking needs.
