  If you have been in this business long enough, you know that lenders can feel interchangeable. It's not until things become stressful, do you notice the importance of a top talent lender. Just last week, Ricky was able to step up in a big way to make sure a transaction saw the end zone! He was able to not only able to close the file early, he was also able to make the listing agent on this recent transaction feel 100% comfortable the entire time. Ricky and his team showed up when it mattered most to my buyers and myself! Do yourself a favor and give him a call.

  Ricky and his team have access to so many loan products and work with borrowers to find the right one to fit their individual situation, from down payment assistance to investments and everything in between. What I love best? They close on time, even with difficult situations.

  Do not use this company. I had trouble from the very beginning. My loan officer was Greg Hixon. He opened escrow without having my loan approved or any paperwork to speak of. He ordered the appraisal and a roof inspection and then authorized the roof to be redone on the house after he had already canceled escrow. It took 4 months to get to that point. Then for 4 more months he strung me along telling me he was waiting on my credit score to pop up. He did not tell me what it was that apparently came off of my credit to give me no score, even though i had one up until the end of the 4th month. He told me to get a credit card. I did so. No credit score. The roofer who had done my roof had now waited 4 months to get paid and told me they don't usually do jobs outside of escrow. They tried to talk to Greg about getting paid and he has NOW told them he didn't authorize the roof to be redone and ITS ON ME. Now, 6 months after the roof was done and he told us to go ahead and do it, he's trying to throw it on me. I am now probably unable to buy the house and will have to pay for the roof out of my own pocket. I have switched to another mortgage company and will be considering taking this company to court if I cannot buy my house because of an action taken on their part. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  AmeriFirst Financial is an excellent place to obtain a mortgage loan from. They got me a great rate, had the loan processed and closed within 3 weeks! I was very impressed with the whole process and how quickly everything was accomplished. I worked directly with Ron Kelleher and he was amazing! Thank you!

  Totally shocked to find out we would pay over $7200 more interest over the life of the loan than we signed up for if we would go through with this loan. Surprise. They raised the rate due to no fault of ours. Waiting for a resolution. Hopefully they will find that delays were caused by their staff and I will be able to edit this review to 5 Stars. Be careful!!

  I'm not gonna lie and tell anyone that the pre-qual and mortgage loan process is easy or fun. Covid has done it's level best to make sure that an already unpleasant fact of life has gotten much harder and worse. Nevertheless, we got our finances in order, maintained an excellent credit score, and lined up our ducks in a row. We went in prepared and expected to get what we needed. We saw Garrett Bowlby at his office in Mesa. Garrett came highly recommended by a trusted source. We found him to be a detail man who was professional, personal, and caring. With one notable exception, his entire office impressed me. Garrett went the extra mile for me many times, and I found him to be reassuring when things got rougher than expected. Covid may not be the time to apply for a new mortgage, but we had to strike while the iron was hot. It has been a long time since we applied for a mortgage and there were many new things to learn. Garrett is on top of his game and knows his stuff. And he can work small miracles sometimes, and convince other's in the process to work with him. I felt he could be trusted. If you find yourself in the search for a new home loan, I would unhesitatingly recommend that you see Garrett Bowlby at Amerifirst.
