Cassandra Clift1Been having a really hard time working out an issue with keybank. Tried to clarify the information that Charity (manager of this place) knew since it was different than what online customer service representatives would say they could access/see/know. In trying to clarify, she often didn't let me speak or ask questions without interrupting saying that online people had already given me my answer (they hadn't). Instead of listening and answering my questions about the info that she knew that was different than what online people had told me, she got frustrated and hung up on me (call didn't cut out, she very clearly said 'have a good day' *click*). I called back to finish the conversation. It was an issue I didn't necessarily expect them to solve but I did expect to be treated kindly.
Response from the ownerHi Cassandra, Thanks for reaching out to us and sharing your experience with us. This certainly isn't the type of service we strive to provide our clients. I'll be sure to pass this along to our branch partners. If you have any questions/concerns, please send an email to [email protected] including your full name and phone #. Also, include case #75072. Thanks! ^LH

benchina pantaleon1This bank is sucked. I tried to activate my card and nobody could help me. I keep getting transferred to the debit card activation department, and everyone asks me the same question and keeps saying the same thing. And after 30 minutes on the line, talking to 7 agents, the last one pretended she was going to tell me something and hung up. They are a bunch of incompetent, dishonest and unprofessional agents. What a shame!
Response from the ownerGood Afternoon, we would like to look into what happened for you. Please email your full name, billing ZIP code and phone number to [email protected] and reference case# 75964. We will be in touch within 2 to 3 business days. ^CH

Lincoln Selk2I know it's only one person I worked with but Claire wasn't the friendliest and make a couple different passive aggressive comments. Ultimately, she pushed me back to the online contact for the 1 800 number I had originally worked with (KJ Preston, now he is really bad at his job, don't work with him). Overall, Key Bank had by far the best rate for the HELOC I'm working on, but we're at 6 months and it still hasn't closed. it's been a PAINFUL process.
Response from the ownerLincoln, sorry you're having this experience. If you would like to provide addition details, please email them to us at [email protected] including your full name with a contact phone number and zip code. Thank you. ^JL

Maggie Gunn1While I have loved banking with KeyBank, this branch has been an absolute nightmare to work with to get an auto loan due to lack of communication and misleading expectations. We started the process TWO AND A HALF MONTHS ago and are still being told that there are things that need to be “worked out”. While I understand a mishap or two, this is far beyond that. Claire and Charity, the bankers at this branch, have played a significant role in making this an absolutely miserable experience. Like I said, I have loved KeyBank, but I beg of you, save your sanity and choose another branch.
Response from the ownerHello Maggie, thank you for getting in touch. What you have described is not the type of experience we want our clients to have. We would like to look into this matter for you and find out what happened. Please email your full name, billing ZIP code and phone number to [email protected] Please reference Case# 36320. Do not include account numbers to protect your privacy. Our Escalation Team will reach out within 2 to 3 business days. Thank you!^CH

Cory Hill5I went to Key Bank with my friend, whose account was cancelled by the bank due to inactivity. A travel company will not issue a refund except to the account that is now closed. Charity, the tell was extremely helpful and understanding and passed us along to the bank branch manager Jim. Jim spent over an hour of his own time to help my friend to achieve a refund. He really has no obligation to but he did it anyway. He spent over an hour on the phone with 6 or 7 different representatives from the insurance company to the travelocity representatives themselves. I was impressed that they would go so far to help a former client, even when they have no monetary incentive. They have my respect and obviously, this good review.

Shauna Boyack1I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m making an exception for the KeyBank Provo branch. I’ve never experienced such incompetent and rude service. The customer service I received from Charity was appalling. Claire the teller and Charity (I believe she’s a customer service agent) run the place more like a sorority than a bank. I’ll never do business with them again.
Response from the ownerHello Shauna, that is not the type of experience we want you to have with Key. I would be happy to look into what happened for you. Please send an email with your phone number, full name and billing ZIP code to [email protected] to get in touch. We'll call to get details. Thank you.^CH

BearDiePie4Key Bank can be a hassle when calling their foreign call centers but I've always had good luck in the branches, they will even admit the call center problems and tell you to call them at the local branch. Would be 5-star but for the call center issue. I did find, when I tried to close my accounts, they have a simple savings account with no fees even with a nearly zero balance so they kept me as a customer and I have been happy for that, good locations in SLC area.

Amanda was so rude no customer service at all and her manager charity was just as bad I had 3 accounts she messed up on my accounts and when I called back she could not even apologize that she made a mistake she told me to call another branch or the 800 number! They are rude and inconsiderate they have no customer service skills in this branch! I would not recommend this company to anyone!! There ridiculous!
Response from the ownerHi Stacilyn, I'm sorry that you had this experience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I will forward this info to our Branch Experience Team for review. Let us know if you ever have any questions/concerns, we're here to help. ^LH

James Folaumahina1Worst customer service ever. One teller was polite but the bank manager is a joke. Waited all day for her to return a phone call, and when I finally got ahold of her she told me I've already been helped, and I was basically waisting my time talking to her. Never bank here I will be closing my account and finding a new bank
Response from the ownerGood Morning James, This certainly isn't the type of service we strive to provide our clients. Is there anything you may still need help with? If so, you can send us an email to [email protected]. Please include your full name, contact info and reference case #31197. ^LH
