  Chatted with them through email about a product they had that I wanted to purchase, discussed with them I would be coming in to grab it this week (severe snow storms in the area prevented same day pick up, which was communicated) - last communication saying it was available for me was only a day prior! Thankfully I confirmed right in the morning before coming down because they sold it to someone else without informing me to save me the drive. The worst part of this was the lack of communication that the item had been sold after having discussed with them I would be picking it up. Its just rude and inconsiderate.

  I have been going to this pawn shop for many years now. Frank, John, and James are always working with me going out of their way to help me out. I have dealt with many pawn shops and what makes these guys stick out and be clearly different is the fact that they treat their customers like friends by small things like remembering your name. I highly recommend coming here due to the cheaper interest rates than other pawn shops around the area as well and overall would rate this pawn shop to be the best there is compared to Cash America and other family owned shops. Thank you Kent Jewelry & Loan for always being there for me and helping me out.

  Recently bought a Laptop from here. These guys are a template for what a great pawnshop/business should be! And in my travels it's an almost impossibility to find! Really nice and helpful guys who without any BS, will leave you a satisfied customer. Great conversationalists to! Thank you

  Have always been good to me. I've bought a cpl hand guns from them for around 1/2 price. I got a Smith an Wesson purple and black paint like something was ripped threw the gun is where the purple was 1522 ar style rifle from them for 225$ and they threw in a really nice case. It has to outer zipper compartments one for clips the other fits cleaning kit. It also has 2 handles for carrying alongside with one arm + it has back pack style straps which is great for going to the range with more then just one gun. It was so nice I made it my Tavor X95 case. I paid 2000 for my X95 I have pawned it there and got what ever I asked for every time no questions asked. You must understand when you buy something as soon as you walk out the door that item is at the most worth 3/4. They are a buisness and provide a service I'm happy to use. 700$ is the most I've asked for on a 2000 $ rifle and got it no questions. They do know that it's my child and I will be back for it but I think if I did miss the day for some reason that I would be informed and it wouldn't just be sold out from under me. I think their are very fair for what they do if I go to McPawn Exchange with the same rifle I'd be lucky to get 500 and they wouldn't remember who I was the second I walked out the door. I say go in give them a chance to see for yourself then make a decision. Let not my review or another review stop you from giving anywhere a chance at your buisness. Duane

  Been my fav family since we all started get to know each other. I fully trust them. They're honest. They really do work with me at time of need. But yes trust goes both ways with this family owned pawnshop. Been a loyal customer due to these facts. I don't mind supporting family businesses.

  I will definitely be a repeat customer here. I came in today looking for home security in the way of a firearm. The fella who helped me is named John, and he was very helpful indeed. He was well informed and more than happy to answer all my questions. When he found out it was my first gun, he cut me a hell of a deal and even looked for ammo for the shotgun i bought to throw in for free. good selection, good customer service, and a good price. Id give more than 5 stars if i could.

  The people in this store are amazing and kind. They work with you and always have provided excellent service whether we buy something or loan something. The store is small but they have a variety of things you may be looking for. I highly recommend bringing your business to them.

  Quick service, professional staff. Came in to sell a gemstone necklace, got 42% of market value which is fair for a first offer. If I ever need to sell again, I will come back here.

  A dingy exterior (open doors to accommodate no AC) with an equally unkempt interior. You'll wait despite several employees seemingly doing nothing, and eventually you'll be confronted by one of several disheveled employees who will ask what you want for an item, and sequentially be told to go wherever you'll get that price for that item; you will not receive a quote. I realize there are tactics in this industry, but this location is only trying to exploit the desperate. Even if I end up selling my guns for less money, it won't be at this dump. Come here only if you like being gas lighted into giving your things away

  Incredible service. I've had several items in pawn and everything was returned just as I pawned it. Their entire staff is very willing to work with you on prices and deals. Just recently got a great deal on a handgun. I would recommend using them over any of the other pawn shops in the area.
