  Working with Kellyn was a dream! As a first time home buyer, I was incredibly nervous and had no idea what I was doing, but by closing I told everyone “if I knew the loan process wasn’t going to be scary, I would’ve done this a long time ago!” This was all because Kellyn was so available and willing to help. I know for a fact I was asking the most basic and elementary questions over and over, but Kellyn answered everything happily and thoroughly and made me feel very secure in what I was getting myself into. She kept in contact throughout the entire process, updated literally within minutes of any big milestone, and went out of her way several times just to check in. She even stopped by closing and asked about then answered any last minute questions, which was very appreciated and a thoughtful touch that calmed my nerves. She was very responsive, completely knowledgeable, and a great help to me! I will confidently recommend Kellyn to anyone looking into starting this process and would work with her again in a heartbeat!

  It was my real estate agent who got me in touch with Kellyn Bowden at Movement Mortgage in Athens, GA. We were in the market of buying our first home and, to be honest, it appeared to be an uphill task for us. In comes Kellyn. After she understood our needs, our financial situation, and what I was already paying in rent, she assured me that buying a house was absolutely within the realm of possibility. Throughout the process, Kellyn kept a very positive attitude and at times, even helped me fight my frustration with the rigorous process of securing a loan. I even jokingly told her that she should be my therapist instead because she did lift my spirit up when I was down on many occasions. We had a good laugh about it. She continued to tell me not to give up on my dream! Kellyn, a through and through professional, knows her stuff like the back of her hand. Besides being an expert in the area of lending and mortgage, she is a very warm, friendly person who I came to trust during our early meetings. I never felt for a second that she was not working in our interest as she continued to guide us how we could keep our monthly mortgage as low as possible. I feel I was very fortunate to have come in contact with her. She was an absolute delight in dealing with and I was amazed at her patience with someone like me who is very cynical by nature. She would answer all my questions thoroughly and would respond to my emails in a matter of minutes. Kellyn stayed with me till the day we closed as she sat next to me at the lawyer's office guarding me from any possible pitfall. That shows how committed she is towards her clients. I hope to spend the rest of my life in our new home but if I ever have to look for financing for a new house again, Kellyn would be my first and final choice! In her, we have not only found a professional who knows what she is doing, we have also found a friend for life and to me, that means a lot. It would be my pleasure to recommend her to anyone I know who is looking for financing a new home or refinancing an existing one. She is just that good!

  Kellyn and her team were amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything settled in our loan so we could buy our dream home (also our first home). I work in real estate and have dealt with lots of lenders and Kellyn is definitely a step above! She’s more than a lender; she’s a therapist, investigator and friend. You can’t go wrong with her!
