  I have had the privilege of working with Kay on multiple occasions. As an independent broker Kay has a genuine interest in finding her clients the best products at the lowest rates. If you like dealing with people that put their Clients fist, Kay Cleland at KC Mortgage is the way to go!

  As a business owner, I know when I'm too busy to take on new clients so my existing ones don't suffer, I unfortunately have to sometimes turn business away. I wish Kay would have just turned me away in the beginning when she was clearly too busy. She came highly recommended, and is very friendly when you can get ahold of her. Unfortunately, after quite a bit of back and forth emails, applications filled out, more documents submitted, - there would be days, at one point 5 days (although over the weekend, emailed Friday at 10am, heard back Wednesday) before I got a response and I still tried to work with her. But when her attempts to fix that were "Let's chat tomorrow." I let her know I was wide open the following day - then zero follow up. It takes about 15 seconds to send an email, or a text "Hey, I got slammed today, I'll reach out tomorrow." But instead, just no communication. This may have been a blessing, as I ended up working with company that had outstanding communication and great service. Kay did spend a lot of time answering questions, helping me through some unique loopholes and pointing me in the right direction. But when you're at a Restaurant and the Server spends a bunch of time helping make sure you're ordering just what you want...and the food never shows up, well you still end up frustrated. Based on the other reviews, it looks like Kay does great work when she's available. But I'd recommend working with somebody that has an assistant or somebody to help keep you as a customer from feeling like you're not forgotten about.

  This was my second home purchase and I was new to using a mortgage broker. I didn’t know what to expect, and was very happy I made the decision to choose Kay Cleland for this process. The Colorado real estate market moves fast, but not too fast for Kay! Her ability to work quickly to meet important deadlines is one of her greatest strengths. Kay let me know exactly what I needed to do and how soon I needed to do it. I work full-time and have three young children; Kay kept me on track and helped me avoid feeling overwhelmed. She seems extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business, and I felt confident that she was paying attention to every detail. The closing went smoothly, and I thank her for making the process as painless as possible. She was a pleasure to work with!

  Kay is just absolutely wonderful! I really owe her so much!! She made it possible for me to land my first home! I had originally had my financing set up with my bank and I was under the impression everything was good to go. It wasn't until I was under contract on my new home when the financing fell apart, and if it weren't for Kay and her diligent work, I would have lost the home. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would certainly recommend her to ANYONE looking to purchase a new home.

  Kay is nothing short of fantastic. I wasted quite a bit of time shopping around just to find out that the best deal was right down the road. I refinanced our home and got a fantastic rate.   Kay was amazing to work with! My husband and I went to Kay to refinance our home, we had a few obstacles to tackle to find a lender to approve us and Kay made it happen! I honestly don't believe we would have been able to refinance without her! We were able to take cash out for remodeling and lower our monthly payment. I am a VERY happy customer!

  Unbelievable how quickly she took action when I called about a refinance. She's been super prompt and saved us a lot. Definitely my go to from now on. edit. I'm literally paying less on my mortgage than most u reading this pay for rent. Keep that in mind.
