  We are really glad to have gone with Joey for our mortgage services. There were plenty of opportunities to work with other lenders with lower interest rates, but we largely stuck with a local business because we needed someone who knew the importance of being responsive in the competitive Bay Area market, and we wanted a real estate team that had worked together well before (real estate agent + lender). There were several things that I felt contributed to the success of our home purchase: he made sure to explain all of our options to us in detail beforehand and made sure we understood what was happening; he made sure we had all of our ducks in a row (paperwork-wise) so we would be ready to go; and he responded quickly when we had decided to make an offer. He also made sure that there were no surprises, which was something I had always been nervous about going into this process. When we saw THE ONE, we put in an offer that required a rapid response, and Joey delivered - he went above and beyond to ensure that we could put in an offer with a few hours' notice, on a Saturday evening, no less. We really appreciated working with him throughout the process. This was such a huge undertaking and we are so glad we worked with someone that was patient, courteous, and professional.   Joey Wolf currently works for La Salle mortgage in Montclair. He just helped my husband and I close on our house! Joey was recommended to us by our realtor for being quick and efficient here in the east bay. We reached out to joey and was about to reach out to other lenders our realtor recommended, however Joey responded right away! Joey also knew that we had been preapproved before with another loan adviser however he still explained everything to my husband and I in detail so that we could understand. When we had questions he would respond quickly either through email or through phone. He also worked extra hard by working after hours to answer questions and follow up with the lender to make sure we had all the paperwork to filled out. Joey was patient with us throughout the whole process. He is also very personable and friendly. No question is a dumb question. Joey wants to make sure you understand everything you are signing. He is also very dedicated and will continue to help us look for a better interest rate to refinance in the future! I highly recommend Joey for you loan advisor! I actually really glad if feel through with our previous company because they weren't as efficient as Joey was. Definitely give him the opportunity to help you. You won't regret it!

  Joey was the perfect broker for us. He was amazingly patient with my many questions, as this is the first time I purchased a home on my own. He stayed on top of the timing of every step in the process and kept it moving so that we closed a few days early. There are so many details, and so much uncertainty in the current financial climate. It could have felt overwhelming but it never did and I attribute that in large part to Joey's steady, capable guidance through the process. So grateful!

  About two years ago, I bought my townhouse. I was interested in refinancing, so I asked my realtor if he could refer me to a loan officer in his network -- someone I could trust, who wouldn't mind all the "dumb" questions I knew I'd ask, and who would take me through the entire process - step by step - without rushing me to make decisions before I was comfortable or ready to make them. Joey came highly recommended and he did not disappoint one bit. I did ask all those "dumb" questions and he was patient enough to give me all the data I needed to make an informed decision. He accommodated evening calls for us to talk (despite being on daddy duty at home) because my work life is filled with back-to-back meetings, and he went out of his way to ensure I was confident about decisions I was making.
