  Jay was the person who made our home buying experience much smoother than it could have been. In the initial meeting, he laid out options that could be fitting to my circumstances, and there were options I had not considered before. Once our offer got accepted, he and his team helped us secure the mortgage with a competitive rate and a great payment option. They were able to complete the whole process of getting the appraisal and the underwriter's review much sooner than we anticipated with little friction, which helped the closing of our house much earlier than the originally estimated date. His team essentially gave us about a week of time to update the house before an arrival of our new baby, which turned out to be very valuable. The whole process was almost painless, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Jay and his team to whoever want mortgages for their properties.

  Very impressed with Jay's quick response to my email inquiry about getting a home loan. He sent me a very helpful spreadsheet of information that would answer most basic questions about getting a loan and what my monthly payment might be. All this on my first 10 min phone conversation with me. Thanks again Jay!

  I found Jay googling "best loan agents in Bay area" and I'm grateful I did! Jay and his team were: a. gave best rate I could find while getting pre-qualified, and even lowered it when I'm contract when everyone else went up: kept their word b. Were direct, super friendly, prompt and always available c. Remained supportive, and prompt, albeit our long home hunting journey on the tough seller market we are in d. Remained well organized and on to of thing even when our finances changed, prices remained smooth e. My favorite part is when human error happened, they still recovered promptly and were able to close in time! It was true pleasure to work with Jay, I'll definitely work with him again!

  Jay and his team at US Bank helped my wife and I secure a loan with a great interest rate to purchase our first home in June 2021. We shopped two loan brokers as well as Jay, and went with US Bank because he beat all the broker rates, and was the most thoughtful and knowledgeable throughout the process. We never felt rushed while initially meeting with him, and we could tell he was really on our side trying to get the best loan for us and our situation. US bank had great creative financing (10% down, no mortgage insurance, and still the lowest rate!) that the brokers couldn’t offer, which we ended up going with. The escrow process went smoothly and online US Bank platform was pretty easy to navigate. Highly recommend Jay, we will definitely continue to work with him when it comes time for our next mortgage!

  Highly recommend working with Jay! I just finished a refinance with Jay and his wonderful team. After working with another lender in the past, I have perspective to compare Jay's performance. I am so appreciative of Jay's work, attention to detail and superb customer service. This whole process felt so supportive and entirely different than the other lender we worked with before. Jay took time to explain concepts and options throughout the process, but he never talked down or was impatient, just strove to provide clarity at every turn.

  Jay's rates were better than anything offered in the market and his easy-going manner and sharp mind combine to make it a very pleasant experience for something that can be stressful. Jay is one of the most genuine people I've met in real estate -- and this review is for the 6th place I've bought. Also, his team of Paige and Allan are strong and extremely responsive to inquiries. He would be my first choice if I buy in the Bay Area again.

  Jay and his team was very helpful and patient with us while processing our loan. They keep us informed of any requests and responded positively and quickly to our questions. Jay schedule was open to us and we made a few virtual visits to discuss and answered any questions we had about the loan. At the end the closing was very efficient and quick.   We wanted to refinance our home and pull some money from the equity. We had worked with another company and it was a total nightmare. Working with Jay and his team was refreshing! They were transparent and honest. No unexpected charges. They worked with me to get what I wanted.
