  Felt extremely intimidated trying to browse in this store. They have very unique estate items - and it could have been an enjoyable experience, but we were watched so closely by the armed guard, we felt like common criminals. The woman working here was not very friendly and every time I moved to another area of the store, the guard shadowed me. He even escorted us out of the store by holding the door open! I understand why they have a guard - my first cousin's father-in-law was killed during a robbery in his high-end pawn/jewelry store. Still, my husband and I agreed this was a very uncomfortable experience. I would never consider buying anything here nor would I sell them items - I'm sticking with my tried and true pawn shop in Arlington Heights!

  I went into this establishment with my husband a week ago. When we arrived we had to wait a while for the lady to get off the phone. However, once she got off the phone she proceeded to help another customer who had come in after us. Therefore, we had to sit and wait even longer. When she finally acknowledged us she took a look at a pair of diamond earrings and a diamond engagement ring (and our paperwork for each) and proceeded to give us an amount for both. We decided to hold off and think the offer over. (She even wrote our name and the amount she gave us down for future reference) A week later when we decided to come in and sell the diamond earrings the same lady was very rude and dishonest. All of a sudden she lies and says that she told us she wasn't interested. When my husband reminded her that she had made us an offer and even wrote it down then she says "Dude I don't want them...I can't do nothing with them....sorry." I really wish she would have said that a week ago instead of wasting our time. Had I paid attention to some of the reviews about this place I should have decided against going the first time around. For anyone thinking about going to this place please use CAUTION! To Ms. Pelski shame on you for treating your customers like that! The way we were treated I will never come back to your establishment again let alone refer anybody. It is not a good look for Jewelry Mart at all!

  Once again the staff (specifically, Irene this time) did me right and paid top dollar for estate jewelry items that I inherited (and a couple of gold chains I stopped wearing). Four years ago I was also treated fairly. I will continue to do business with Jewelry and Coin Mart at every opportunity.

  I sold some jewelry and they made a difficult situation easy. They were friendly and fair. Plus looking around there are many amazing items to purchase. I recommend Jewelry & Coin Mart for all your jewelry needs.

  My husband took in a watch for a battery and when his watch was returned it was scratched up. They said they would buff it out but charged him again! After 2 weeks he went to pick up his watch and now the clasp was bent and doesn't close correctly. They denied any responsibility, refused to fix it, threw his money back to him and said "have a good life". He couldn't believe it. This is the worst possible place you could take your jewelry! They also deleted my review on Yelp. Beware.

  Went in to sell a ring. They gave me a fair offer and I was in and out in 5 minutes. My mom sold an item here as well and had the same experience. Would recommend for sure!

  Great place to buy and sell your gold! Friendly staff and more than fair on their prices. best buck for your stuff. The owner is great and very knowledgeable about everything. Dont think twice about going here

  Just returned from Jewelry &Coin Mart on Golf Rd. in Schaumburg,IL. Once again I was very satisfied with my experience.I dealt with Irene who is the owner.I find Irene to be very friendly,knowledgeable,courteous,and very fair with her pricing. In the last 4-5 years I have done 8-10 transactions with the store and each one has been very pleasant for me.I am a repeat customer and will continue to go there .If you have gold,coins,jewelry,collectables,etc take them to Jewelry Mart for a great deal.The store also has a variety of unique gifts very reasonably priced.

  Had a good experience today, bought a 10 oz silver bar and some Eagles prices were very reasonable and just over spot for the bar. Eagles were on par pricing wise with competition. Even got my change in uncirculated Susan B Anthony's & Sacagawea's. I shall return!!! PS the young lady behind the counter was very professional and had a nice smile...
