  We have been working with Jeff since we bought our first home in 2006 and he has helped us to refinance twice since then. He completely understands our Mortgage goals and works towards getting our needs met. He is very prompt in responding to our questions but realistically, he is so proactive in giving us the all the transparent information we need upfront that we have very little to inquire about. Whenever we have a hang up on our end, Jeff has been patient and tactful in finding a resolution to make the loan process run as smooth as possible!

  Jeff Johnson with Megastar was a fantastic asset for our family to navigate the lending process. As a first time home buyer, naturally we had many questions that were hard to find in our research. Things like what should I be doing now between this milestone and this. Jeff was organized, professional, and quick to respond to emails and calls when we needed his help. He was bugging escrow agents, communicating with our realtor (Nalani Kaopuiki-Young, also highly recommended) behind the scenes, and efficient with upfront and accurate estimates of our mortgage loan and monthly payments. The best part about working with Jeff was his understanding of the requirements for each loan. He asked us early to make sure we had all of the necessary documents before we were even making offers. This helps us focus on the home buying process (offer, home inspection, etc.) and less on the requirements of the loans. I would highly recommend using Jeff Johnson. Five Stars are not enough for this man.

  Excellent experience working with Jeff this time and over the last few years. He helped us work out a loan for us the first time home buyer. He has since helped us when we had questions about refinancing and was patient throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend. Update 2020: We just purchased another home and Jeff was essential in helping us through the process.

  As a first-time home buyer, Jeff was truly fantastic from start to finish. He responded to my questions wickedly fast, and was willing to put in tons of effort and time trying to put together a loan package that worked best for me and the property I was looking for (on a Saturday morning, too!). He had the lowest rates I could find. You would think a lower price would mean worse service, but the opposite was true: 5-star service all the time. I have nothing but good things to say about Jeff and Megastar, and I strongly recommend him to anyone.

  The second time around was as great as the first! We dealt with Jeff in 2016 when we first bought out house. I called Jeff in December and had a conversation about opportunities to refinance with all of the market growth in the Seattle area and Jeff delivered again. Super easy experience and as expected he achieved all of our goals. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or refinance. I will definitely use Jeff again in the future.

  Jeff Johnson was a referral from our real estate agent as "one of her favorite lenders" and she was spot on! Jeff was incredible during our first time homebuying process. He is very knowledgeble and easy to get a hold of. He answered all of our questions promptly, checked in regularly and kept us updated every step of the way. As first-timers we had no idea what to expect but thought finding a mortgage would be extremely daunting. With Jeff we can honestly say it was a stree free experience.
