  I have been a customer of the Jax FCU at the Atlantic Beach Branch for several years now. The ladies who help me with my banking needs are always helpful and friendly. They are never too rushed to stop and make sure they have done everything they can to, not only meet my needs, but to provide excellent service. I plan to continue my banking with Jax Federal Credit Union for years to come!

  I have been with Jacksonville Federal Credit Union for over 20 years. I have tried other banks, opened other accounts and found myself coming back home to Jax. This branch is my favorite, I know everyone here and they know me. We talk like we cook out together every weekend. Great service, great rates and great people.

  Typically Id say JAX is pretty good, but when you really need help and stuff is still set as pending in your account they don’t do anything to assist. They also apperently now pick and choose when they want to charge fees for cashier checks regardless if your a member.

  I hate banking with Jax Federal. It’s so hard to do simple things like make a payment or replace a card. They charge you $5 to make a payment over the phone. If you lose your card, you have to cancel that line of credit and open a brand new line of credit, and yes it messes up your credit history REAL BAD. And the employees at this location are Not helpful at all. I 100% regret opening an account here and feel even worse about getting a line of credit. Will be closing it down as soon as possible!

  Hi Smith! Thank you for your feedback, as it does help us improve our services. Have you tried using our digital services to make a payment? We understand that some members like phone banking, but there are options as well! For example, in Digital Banking you can set up transfers, pay bills from an outside bank, and even use our payment portal. Here are a few guides to help with that: https://www.jaxfcu.org/digital-banking/ If you lose your debit card, we can print a new one at our branches for you! If you lose your credit card, to prevent fraud and protect our members, we do cancel the credit card and issue you a new one. The line of credit is not effected. If you have charges that look questionable, you should report them to us immediately so that we can remove those. I do apologize about any member service that you received that was not up to standards. If you had a specific teller issue or would like to speak with a branch manager, I'd be happy to have someone contact you.
