The fraud protections are so arbitrary and frequent it’s difficult to conduct business here. I ended up canceling my computer order with Apple because it was just too much of a hassle to sort it all out after a hold was put on my business account for fraud. Looking to go elsewhere, but banks are skanks. It’s like having parents watching over how I spend my money. Such nonsense. Nothing more humiliating than having your debt card denied when your balance is in the thousands.

Just got a car loan from IUCU. Very efficient and professional staff! Got everything done in just a few days and mostly online! The rate was also very good. Highly recommended!

Won’t help you when your money is stolen from their accounts, and then will make you drive to multiple locations trying to get a new debit card. Chase is right down the street and cares much more about their clients.

I've been an IUCU member for almost 7 years now, and their service has been exceptional all along. Everyone there is helpful, courteous, and (if need be) patient. I enjoy my visits there, because all of the staff are welcoming. I feel that my money is safe and that the Credit Union puts the needs of its members above its own potential profit, unlike some regular banks. Highly recommend.

Last month I was locked out of my account, I called multiple times and went in where they proceeded to accuse me of not being me. They unlock my account, after my ID and I answer a bunch of questions. The following day, I'm locked out again. I call and am told they believe my account is compromised and I need to come in. I have my daughter drive me as I'm disabled and it's really hard for me to get around. They tell me that I have to open another account, and they'll keep the other one locked but open for 90 days for any other transactions to come through. They refuse to tell me why my account has once again been locked, except for muttering that I had Spotify come through, and I don't have Spotify. I respond I've had Spotify since 2015, and I'm ignored. Apparently with me sitting across from them, telling them this is my transaction, I am somehow lying. I leave at least thinking well I can use my new account, only to have them call me this morning and inform me that they are switching me to a non transactional account. No answer as to why. I don't understand why I would even need an account that I can't use. This used to be a decent place to bank, but after I started having problems I looked them up and noticed they have their facebook reviews turned off, and almost every review on yelp and wallethub they've had since 2016 has been negative. Even read a review very similar, where they apparently accused someone of lying about a transaction. Avoid this bank at all cost. I've been with them for over 20 years, but I'm done.

They don't properly disclose their fee structures when opening accounts. If you want to pay a bunch of money to have "free" accounts, then this is the bank for you.

I can't say enough about my experiences with IU Credit Union and specifically the branch on County Line Road. I have banked with Fifth Third Bank, PNC Bank, and Chase. All in my opinion fall short of the great customer service you receive at IU Credit Union. They have been great to work with through two vehicle loans, a mortgage, line of credit, three business accounts & our personal accounts. When you call either the main office of this branch on County Line Road you can actually get a live person and get your issues resolved. I've recommended countless friends and family to IU Credit Union. It's a great feeling finding the last bank you'll ever work with and one that's truly in your corner.
