Melissa SV2This bank is antiquated. Monthly fees, buggy app, constant overdraft fees (when there's plenty in savings,) pretty much no ATMs which increases fees, and God forbid your card is used fraudulently; you have to jump through hoops to get it corrected! My husband and I are closing our accounts as they just can't compete. Do your research there are some great options these days.

Stephanie Joy1I was a member of IBM for the last 15 years… As soon as I think took over it has been nothing but a nightmare. I would not recommend doing any loans through this company! Nobody knows what’s going on and you will be on hold for hours at a time. I’m pulling on my account from here after 15 years.

Dominick Morano2I was referred here by a member to get myself established despite being approved for credit cards and a car loan elsewhere I was denied both by this credit for no reason. I reached out to the CEO, contacted the bank directly and no one was able to explain to me why the CEO never responded or why I was denied credit here and approved by everyone else. If you’re looking for a credit union to set your life up again go elsewhere, very bad experience. Very bad experience. I will say that closing the account I had a very good experience with one of the employees who even suggested they hire me to help them with their reputation. I feel like if I had just gone in -person to begin with, I would have had a better experience.

Y Kagan1At times like this you would expect everyone to come together and try and help and be friendly with each other. The manager of this branch has been the exact opposite. I came to endorse checks that I received from my insurance company to a property I sold and no longer own (and therefor IBMSECU or iThink now) doesn't own as well. The first day I drove there (35 min each way), I was told the manager isn't here, and the manager on duty doesn't have the keys to the stamp (What???). So I came back the next day, and after sitting for 40 min in the drive through I was told that I can only deposit the check in my account there after my wife endorses it at her bank since they have a lien on the house. I tried explaining that it's impossible to have a lien on a house that I no longer own, but he could care less. Luckily I spoke earlier with Mary the branch manager at Cypress, who listened to me and made sure that everything gets cleared out. I saw in the parking lot for around 2 more hours (yes you heard me right) and finally drove back and got the checks ... endorsed. The manager not only did not offer an apology but also seems like he still doesn't care about anything. So Mr. Neil Lawson shame on you, and at times like this the true faces of people come out. You might have worked your way up to corporate latter while things were good but I hope that management reads this and know your true face. I would never recommend anyone coming to your branch, and I hope that people will treat you better than you treat them. Sitting for hours at the drive through I saw more cases of older people getting miss-treated, and just awful behavior all around.

I worked so hard to fix my credit like they advised me to do for them to give me a lousy 500$ credit card increase .. my credit went from a 550 to a 705 . . I needed new tires for my truck that cost a little of 1,000$ my credit card limit is 1,000$ and the reason they wouldn’t increase my limit was due to previous utilization of my credit card however I was never late on a payment ..( when I first got my 500$ credit card I was not educated on how to properly use it but once I was I quickly corrected it) so the underwriter informed my Banking lady that she will not give me a increase for my credit card and to max out my card and buy my tires bc I’ll only be paying out of pocket 100$. Wait so your telling me how to spend my money ? And your telling me to max out my card you just increased haha. This bank is a JOKE AND if it wasn’t for my relationship with the staff at my branch I’d have a lot more to say. This was the most discouraging thing that has happened to me finically. I spent 8,000$ of my hard working money to fix my credit and then this happened. You’d think at a time like this they’d be way more helpful but NO

Elevating Steps1I’m a member of 4 credit unions and this one is the absolute worst. Sandy and Susan from the claims department are disrespectful and rude! I’ve never dealt with so much rudeness. How do you call someone’s phone, and accuse them of something they didn’t? I’m surprised this bank isn’t closed yet. I definitely will be recommending to my family, friends, colleagues, and basically just anyone I know to take their business elsewhere and close their accounts with IBM. If I could give this credit union 0 starts I most definitely would!

Mo Manriquez5I don't really understand these 1 star ratings about bad customer service??? I Just moved here from the Northwest, went in last week was Greeted and helped immediately by Michael. When i told him i was new to the area he welcomed me and made me feel at home. i then opened an account with the help of the amazing Member Advisor Miss Marlene Dass. I was oblivious with the forms and paperwork needed so i made things a hassle but Marlene helped me every step of the way. i held up the whole staff after closing time making a deposit, Miss Kenisha was also a bundle of joy helping with my transactions. The Staff here is amazing, they made me feel at home. It's really all about perspective. Treat people how YOU want to be treated. I recommend this branch to anyone and everyone. They will continue to have my business.

Randy1This credit union is the worst banking institution I have ever dealt with in over 40 years of banking. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the National Credit Union Administration. I called customer service with a question/complaint and was treated in a very rude and condescending way. This credit union wasn’t like this years ago.

Charlie Sumner1There seems to be a lack of knowledge in the CU on how hackers can spoof a login page. The personal graphic disappeared during login the other day and members were never told ahead of time. What’s the new security check? Email to CU customer service was a waste of time.
