  As a divorce mediator I collaborate with Chris Chen and his associates in working with couples in determining their current cash flow and their cash flows even into their 90s.   Chris argued with my lawyer about the law. Then spent a considerable amount of time checking if my lawyer was right. All of this was charged to me. Chris is VERY slow. 6 hours to do a basic audit of three excel sheets. 3 hours to generate a 3 page form letter with the results. The end result, the bill was twice as high as it should have been. Pay more for a more professional and efficient analyst. It will save you money in the long haul. EDIT: They also double billed me. Not a good sign for a finance company if they aren't able to keep track of their own finances.

  as a CPA and corporate controller, I always thought that I could do all that investment stuff on my own. Although I paid attention to tax implications of investment (I am a CPA after all), I did not consider other aspects of wealth management, such as life changes, uncertainty, the subtleties of risk and diversification, etc. I am glad I met Chris at Insight Financial Strategists!
