      My wife and I recently opened a checking and savings account here after being members of "another" local banking institution. Shortly after opening our accounts we applied for and were approved for two different loans and today, on my wife's birthday and with the help of Insight, we purchased a used car. We are beyond happy with Insight C.U. and the staff, they are down to earth folk who laugh and joke with you and you feel like part of the family. We ended up closing out our accounts at the other place that we've had since 2004 because they just don't like to work with you unless your credit score is over 740. Thank you Insight!! <3

      2/22/2022 update. Just hung up with Laurie in credit card services. It is evident to me she does not like her job. Poor customer service. She talked to me as if she were doing me a favor. I am standing in line now and there is only one teller. This credit union gets worse by the second.

      I don't really care that the walk in customer service is always slow or that the atm is frequently out of service. Just keep that in mind and plan accordingly. I'm thankful for a credit union that has minimal to no fees when my balance is a yoyo due to self employment. The only time they held my funds was the first month of membership and when I explained it was payroll they went ahead and cleared it. No complaints here. 2/2/22 3:30 5 stars for customer service in drive through today. quick & professional. Must have hired someone new

      I have banked with this institution under one of their many names for over 30 years and have always been very very pleased with the service and the quality of personnel. The cause for the more recent negative reviews in the last year relate directly to covid. Insight, just like other businesses, has suffered from personnel either quitting to take advantage of the income replacement system or being let go because of inability to hold a large workforce at a time of slowed down business. They often work with a skeleton staff like many businesses and restaurants causing delays and when they hire new personnel that requires training and the new trainees slow down processes as well so I think we all just need to develop some more patience and hope that it gets back to the status that it was before this pandemic hit. I know I plan to be patient and stay with them.

      Shannon Hitchcock branch manager of the Eustis insight credit Union was marvelous! She helped me through the process of new membership as a member of the credit union, helped me with applying for a new credit card and lots of information on how to safeguard finances and be able to buy possibly a car or help with my home and so forth! Very very helpful!

      I can not believe how the customer service has detoriated at this branch. Teller was extremely rude, told me to go inside if I wasn't happy with the drive through after waiting 20 minutes. She also misplaced another customer's driver license. Branch manager never returned my call even after talking with their customer representive and leaving two messages on the answering machine at the Eustis branch. Could not talk to a real person at this branch. Almost makes me want to go back to Wells Fargo. McCoy Credit Union seems attractive at this point.

      No customer service. We were waiting in the lobby for financial services for an auto loan. There were only 2 employees helping customers. There was only one person ahead of us waiting. After waiting 20 mins an office finally opened and it was our turn. But instead of being called in the employee talked with another employee for several minutes. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere.

      Had my account hacked 10 days ago and received one call with a message about it. Received numerous calls from the hackers who told me the same things left in the message. No way to tell who was real or not. They didn't close my account and let the hackers continue to withdraw money all day out of account. I was out of town and not using the card so had no clue until I saw the message and picked up another call (the hackers, not Insights). Imagine my surprise a few days later to be told at the drive-thru that I was almost $1000 in the hole!!! Nothing left in any accounts!! Had to close all accounts and get new ones. Debit card maker out of order for over a week....very inconvenient!! Have receive 75% of money back, still waiting on the rest. Refunded fees was very quick and much appreciated! SECOND time my card was compromised in a 6 mo. period here though. Last time they called me right away and stayed on it until I could confirm. Not sure if I will stay with this bank, especially since I can't get a debit card to use!

      I'm in the process of closing all my accounts and moving them. I had an issue when I opened my account, debit card wasn't ordered so I went through Christmas without one.... then I ordered a debit card for my husband .. I don't know what went wrong but he can only use the credit option. The last straw was I couldn't deposit a check as my business account wasn't set up properly. I can only deposit a check made out to my fictitious name, they were unable to see any of my 4 pages of documentation I had to provide to open the account. They couldn't even find my listing on sunbiz to confirm my corporation existed. Lastly they blamed me and said I must have asked for the account to be set up that way.
