  Actually we stayed at Indian Wells Resort right in front of this Golf Course. The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade, the mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the carpets are stained, and our room actually had a bad ordor in it. The staff was nice enough to supply air fresheners but still... disappointing. The bathroom wasn't bad tho. I do love their huge pool & outside surrounding area! Theres plenty of chairs & umbrellas, a nice fire pit and, a grill & bar that serms to only be open on Fridays - Sundays. There's a tiny bar in the lobby that's open on odd hours and the restaurant serves breakfast only, then employees take orders for lunch & dinner delivered to the pool or your room. There's lots of history here- place was orginally opened by Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball. So if you want an inexpensive place to stay in Indian Wells for a night, and you don't plan on spending any time in your room, then I'd reccomend this hotel, otherwise upgrade to a nicer place.

  The Classic course came recommended so we were excited to play here. Our home club in Idaho called and got my wife and I a tee time. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience. The $130 per person is GROSSLY over priced. For the money and all the hype, we expected a first class experience and didn't get it. The pro shop staff was courteous. After that, everything was average at best. Simple things like a towel in the cart instead of feeling like you're at a muni scrounging around for a wet towel. The course was in good shape overall but nothing spectacular. At a so-called high end club, you'd expect the maintenance people to stop their equipment and give way to the players. Nope. They just keep doing their thing. We've played muni's where the grounds crew was more considerate. The front 9 is FAR better than the back 9. It's like playing two totally different golf courses. The back 9 is cramped and not spread out at all. On some holes, tee boxes and greens are close together. Some of the homes on the back 9 that line the course are junky, in disrepair and/or poorly maintained. Very nice expensive homes line much of the front 9. On #9 you hit your tee ball into the fairway below which seems more like a drainage ditch. They you hit a nearly blind shot up to the green. This is awkward. When we finished, no one was there to clean or take our clubs so just like at the muni's, we drove our cart out to the parking lot, loaded up our stuff and left. This whole experience was very un-inspiring. There are a few nice holes but nothing special. We wasted $260 and won't be back.

  It was nice. My bf and I enjoyed our stay. We had the 1st floor so it was easy access. . Just the pool had NOTHING but kids. We went to get away from ours! Lol

  Our first room smelled like B.O. and it had 2 double beds instead of a king. However, they quickly moved us upstairs to a room with a better view, king bed with a pleasant smell upon entry.

  We've had dinner twice this week at Vue. The food has been delicious and Roberto is fantastic behind the bar. Thank you for making us so welcome!
