Asher Wolfstein1I have a business account here. I'm transferring my business mailbox from one office to another office. To do so I need an Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent notarized (and signed by a notary). Today Laura Grueber would notarize my signature, but not sign the form itself, despite all my information matching from both my driver's license, a verification of insurance, AND having a business account with all the same information. Laura also seemed to have a hard time understanding the form. She stated she, "wasn't going to jail for us," as if we were doing something shady and illegal, which we aren't. What customer service! We stated we'd close our accounts, to which she replied "I can close them now." So, she can't sign our form because she's too suspicious of all the information we've provided, but not enough to be able to close our accounts? Well, she won't have to "go to jail" for us because we're got it notarized elsewhere. We're also closing all our accounts ourselves, because, how are they going to know who we are, we could "print up and provide anything."

Pablo Romero1They were great when they were Guaranty Bank. Since Independent Financial took over, customer service has been atrocious. I have been a customer there since before 2013, but as of next month I am changing to another bank and leaving. Absolutely awful experience since these Texas people took over.

Kyle McCall1Used to be good when it was Home state, now it's a fee driven monster. Branch manager Debra Kelly treated me with rudeness and condescension in a trying time. The exact opposite of what a community bank should be. Take your money elsewhere.
