      Over 15 years a customer. 2 car loans both paid off on time and early. 2 mortgages, 1 paid off one and another (which was worse to get from them than the Spanish inquisition) is current. I tried to get it refinanced last year... Not enough income because they didn't want to count any earning or payroll from our 5 year old business. They did, however, send me a notice that my mortgage would increase $500/month due to interest rates last month. The straw... have a material amount of money in my account and they put a hold on a check that we wrote from another bank account for aprox. $2,000. I call. They said it was policy. They didn't fix it. My policy is that they will be giving out less loans because I will be closing my 10 accounts with them because 15 years, a large balance and flawless record doesn't mean anything to this neighborhood bank anymore.

      I am sure this credit union is working for some people, but this is one that will never have my business. We recently moved here and I am looking for a place to bank as I like to support local. This branch is also less than 2 mules from my house. At first I wrote a message on their website and after not hearing back for 48 hours I called them. I was told that we dont make appointments and there is always someone at the branch to help you with opening business account. So, I stop by the next day at 3pm and the only person who is able to help me is at lunch. I was told they should be back in 45 min. I come back shortly after 5and now told that its not enough time to open an account. Just feel like these people not only don’t appreciate my time, they cant convey the information properly either. Appears like they dont need any new business, so they certainly will not have mine.

      Not only is ICCU the absolute best Bank/Credit Union in the U.S. but this is by far my favorite branch. I'm local to Idaho and I left for Portland for 7 years. I never left ICCU due to how easily you can handle your banking needs online and on the app. Now that I'm back in Idaho, out of the 4-5 branches I have gone to, this is by far the best branch in Idaho. I am greeted the moment I walk in, no matter how busy it is. I would say 9 times out of 10 its not just a greeting, it's a, "Hello Eric! We will be with you in just a moment" They know me and I feel that they truly care. They are the Nordstrom of banking.

      I've never had anything but pleasant experiences with ICCU and their competent staff. The banking structure is easy, efficient and keeps you in the loop. I have personal and small business accounts with them and am very happy with them all. Clean and modern facility with friendly smiling faces whenever I come in! Highly recommended!

      Extremely long wait times at the drive through teller. I have been told several times that the employee's simply turned off the speaker for the drive through? Necessitating me to go in for a very simple transaction. The tellers always seem rushed, and make very ignorant mistakes. They have breached my security and went into my safety deposit box without my permission, and regularly take fees and waste my time with their mistakes. I wouldn't suggest this credit union

      We brought a serious concern to ICCU, regarding scam in the sum of $7K, for a "Covid Relief Fund", in which happened to our son. No one is willing to help even though any fraud over $5K is a felony mind you. I have the persons name who committed this scam. They don't care. As a family we will eventually pull everything out of this CU. You are number.

      Beware of $400+ in closing costs on your HELOC with Idaho Central Credit Union. I just sold my home last week and all of the fees were as expected until I saw a line of I think $425 related to my HELOC with ICCU. I initially figured it was some sort of payoff timing issue perhaps so asked for details from escrow rep and it was a $350 termination fee and then another I think $75-ish fee for something or another. I contacted ICCU to understand more and it turns out even though we'd had it for going on a year and a half, if you sell your home anytime before 3 years, you are subject to a $350 fee. I didn't get clarification as to what the other fee was for. I recently closed out another loan with State Farm Bank for almost an identical amount that had a 1 year termination window attached to it and a $100 termination fee. I think a 3 year ETF period is excessive in general, but especially given the relatively high termination fee. I contacted ICCU to see if I could get relief on it since they have always been very helpful in the past the few times I've had problems. We were over 1 year into the HELOC, so at a minimum a 30% credit seemed like a reasonable consideration given our 10+ year solid history as members. The rep I interacted with was polite, but would not provide any sort of fee refund or consideration which was disappointing. Aside from this encounter, my experience with ICCU has been wonderful. This just unfortunately leaves a pretty bad taste in your mouth but I hope it helps someone else avoid making a similar mistake. Check your ETF fees people.

      First time making a deposit, went through drive, took 10 mins to receive assistance. The girl who answered said "if you dont push the button we cannot help"... What is the point of having a "drive thru" which should be an in an out type of deal as other banks do, when you are going to take forever on something so simple. She did apologize for the time wait, and explained she had to make notes on the previous members account.... In my opinion why are bankers on teller drive up? Why not be convenient & have a teller help the teller drive up with no complicated transactions & if they are complicated why not tell the member to go inside as courtesy to others.... Annoyed.
