  I had been struggling getting financing for a new condo, and Ryan at Hunter Lending was able to work with me to find the best option for my situation. Sharing documents was easy and secure. Jim kept me up to date and on task throughout the process. I'm happy to report that I'm now a homeowner, and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Hunter Lending!

  Jim did a great job helping us navigate the paperwork on our refinance. Each time the mortgage company gave us a hurdle that we needed to clear he came up with an easy and effective solution. Definitely will recommend them to other people.

  I've worked with Hunter Lending twice and had a great experience both times. Their whole team is very professional and knowledgeable and have helped with a purchase and refinance. They shop around for the best rates and really work to take care of you. I will absolutely use them again when we get our next property

  Hunter Lending is a great group to work with for home financing! They are super responsive, are willing and able to walk through various scenarios when trying to figure out the best way to proceed with a re-finance, and they really look out for the best rates & deals for their customers. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for help with buying or investing in their home.

  We purchased our new home in late July 2018 and as I look back at the experience I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work with Ryan and Jim. Ryan is knowledgable with extensive experience and helps to guide you through the entire loan process. Working with Jim was also a great experience - super responsive, detail-oriented and prompt! With this team, a fairly large and stressful process was seamless and efficient and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

  Typically for things like a lender and other significant life decisions we talk to friends and family for referrals; if they had a good experience chances are we will too. After being referred to Hunter Lending we purchased a home, it was effortless and every question was answered and walked through. I was never more sure of them having a vested interest in us. Fast forward and they helped us through a refinance and I have referred them to more friends and family. Love their attention to detail.

  We have worked with Ryan and Jim at Hunter lending now two times. Both times they have gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy and that we are in the best loan for our situation. They know the market very well, and will graciously help explain (sometimes multiple times) what can be sometimes confusing aspects of the mortgage process. Highly recommend.

  Got the rate that we wanted but customer service/responsiveness could use some work. Came highly recommended by a friend, so chose to go with this lender. The process initially seemed unorganized. Was supposed to have an initial call on one day, scheduled a date/time, to then receive no call. Got an email a couple days later if there was a good day and time to talk - there was, we already scheduled it... Fast forward to closing, and everything seemed a bit chaotic. Were asked if we could close a couple days earlier than agreed due to Months end/something with appraisal. Not a huge deal, except we were out of town so had to come back earlier to accommodate or risk purchasing another appraisal. Seems like this information should have been more visible and easier to accommodate in advance, not the day prior. At closing itself, was not prepared as hadn't received final cash to close amount or instructions. So, then had to track all this down with the title company, rather than the lender providing, and run around town to wire money for closing to be finalized. Would not use again or recommend to anyone else.

  I would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations during of one of the biggest refinance booms in history, in the middle of Covid. That being said, after you sat on the loan documents, not signing them for a week, with our employees working outside of the office remotely in different locations, we closed the loan in 3 weeks. If the paperwork had been signed promptly, we wouldn't have been rushed at the end of the process to honor the rate lock. I also apologize that you decided to take a vacation in the middle of this process, but in no way were you forced to close or unaware of the costs. As anyone knows, when you sign a refinance, there is a three day right of rescission in which to pay the closing costs. This review is unfair and as you acknowledged, you got what you wanted, which is a successful transaction in my mind.

  Hunter Lending is awesome. Thank you Adam and your team for making our very first home purchase easy. Everything went smooth, they were with us on every step and answered all our questions very detailed. I appreciate all your hard work. We didn’t know buying a house would be this easy.
