  First time shopping for a new car. The crew at Hughes Subaru made it a wonderful experience. Taylor in particular was very friendly and thorough as we worked through all of the paperwork. They gave us a great price for the car and our trade-in.

  Taylor was our salesperson when we purchased our first ever Subaru (after wanting one for many years). We live in Atlanta and were soliciting quotes from Subaru dealerships local to Atlanta. We found that the other dealers were more difficult to negotiate with. Taylor and the sales Manager, Chuck, at Hughes Subaru made the buying process so very easy and pleasant. We drove to Athens to test drive the vehicle and once we made the decision to purchase, everything was completed over the phone so that when we drove back to Athens a week later, our vehicle was ready to go and paperwork was ready to sign. Since then, I have had questions, which Taylor has been very responsive to and helpful with. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Subaru!

  Best car buying experience that I have ever had! Researched the vehicle that I wanted across several internet platforms and did the same for trade in value. Decided what I would pay for the car that I wanted and my cars trade in value. No pressure from my sales person David, no game playing with “manager”. Quick easy, obtained the car that I wanted at the price that I was willing to pay. Great finance rate on top of that.

  I really appreciate what service advisor Jordan was able to do for me last night (2/24/20). I was driving my wife's car and could barely see through the windshield in the rain to the point that I thought there must be a defect in the window because I had tried everything to clean it. I pulled in just a few minutes before the service center was closing and he was able to get one of the detailers (whose name I didn't get) to clean it and apply RainX and it was like new, maybe better than new! My wife is driving someone from upper management in her company today and will be traveling to NC tomorrow so this really helped us stay safe on the road!

  While working temporarily a long way from home my car broke down. Hughes Subaru provided a top rate service. They were a pleasure to deal with and kept me informed on what was happening at all times. My car needed a major repair which they carried out quickly. i would highly recommend Hughes Subaru

  The people at Hughes Subaru are very helpful and kind. They are even dog friendly! I brought my puppy with me to get my new car (I couldn't leave her at home!) and they offered treats and gave her a dog toy :) Mike Brownlow was a fabulous salesman and he was perfectly courteous. Talk to him if you want a Subaru!

  Had a wonderful experience here. Dylan in the service department went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive experience! He stayed almost an hour late past closing time to help me. I needed a courtesy car urgently to get to an interview and he made it happen. He continually followed up with me and made sure that I got what i needed. Thank you so much Dylan!

  We were all set to buy a competitor's car but stopped by the Subaru dealership on the way home, since it was our second pick and we wanted to at least try one other car. We really did not intend to buy a Subaru. We walked around and looked at the various models and then went inside. It was quiet and after a minute a salesman asked if he could help us. He was was quite nice and did a great job. Above and beyond the call customer service! He was easy to deal with, no pressure, very knowledgeable, and funny too! He made shopping for a car a pleasure. We left with a drive-out price, went home and slept on it. In the morning both of us decided we liked the Subaru a lot better, so we emailed them an offer. Later that day the salesman called and made a counter-offer. We met in the middle and then we went out and bought it. My wife drove it home and coming in the driveway a caution light came on and your's truly freaked out and figured the car was certainly going to blow up. I asked the dealer to send a rollback to take it to the shop since I thought it might damage it to drive it that far. They didn't bat an eye and the tow truck was here within the hour. Later that evening after closing time, the salesman brought it back to us. The light was a tire pressure warning...no big deal. And he was super nice about it - tried to say it was his fault not explaining better...oh yea - thanks for that!. I didn't feel quite so dumb after he left... And the car? Oh yea, we love our Subaru Outback - it's awesome - handles well, very comfortable, roomy and excellent visibility, solid build quality! And perfect for us since we found as plain a jane as you can get these days - minimal doodads and gadgets - simple, less is more - a great ride. You can really feel the road. Thanks Subaru!

  No one was more excited that they would be opening up in Athens than me! My Tribeca has only ever been serviced by Subaru dealerships in its 8 years (this is my second Subaru too), and I was thrilled that I would no longer have to drive to Duluth to get it serviced. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the store is beautiful. However, on the third or fourth time having it serviced there, the technician told me that I needed over $3,000 worth of work done. I thought it weird since it had been in two weeks prior for a simple thing and no one said anything about what the technician had told me. I had a bad feeling about it, so I took it to a certified mechanic. The Hughes Subaru technician had failed to even tighten my oil filter one turn (he had claimed there was an oil leak), and nothing else that the technician had claimed was wrong with the car. The certified mechanic took me underneath my own car and showed me everything that the Subaru technician had claimed was wrong. Everything was fine. However, the Subaru technician had failed to even notice my rear shocks were in bad shape and that my brakes needed to be replaced soon. Furious about the situation, I told a service manager and brought in a document from the certified mechanic. He offered to try to make things right, but there was nothing they could do to make this right. They wanted me to leave my car there over night for them to look at it. At this point, I refuse to let them touch my car again because I do not trust them. Subaru of Gwinnett will be getting me back as a faithful client. It's worth the drive!
