      You have to go through way too many hoops to make a payment online and it can take a week for the payment to clear. Their login system is very unreliable which has resulted in me having to reset my password roughly 10 times in the 18mo I've had this loan. Disappointing because I really would prefer to support a credit union over the big box banks.

Unfortunately, payments that are made with an ACH usually take much longer to clear as they need to process out of a bank and into our credit union. A possible solution would be to make payments using your debit card instead. We very much appreciate your business and are grateful that you chose our credit union. We are launching an all new online banking system in a few weeks that will completely revolutionize our online banking experience, we thought you should be one of the first to know.       Good place for a savings or checking account but don't bother with a loan. The loan department puts on a nice and friendly facade, then that quickly that turns to a lack of communication, unprofessional attitude, and unreasonable demands which leads to a dead end. Bottom line, don't waste to time with these people. Get a loan anywhere else.

      Staff is an absolute joke and don't care about customers. They treat you like your some kind of scum bag, I had checks go missing and was worried my account was going to be stolen from and instead of helping me through it they basically humiliated me and made me feel like I was trying to scam them, than they wanted to charge me $30 per check missing.....i closed my account and now went to another credit union. Its hard to find good customer service these days!! So no wonder people want to do business with machines instead lol

      Everyone writing all these negative reviews make me LOL bunch of babies for real. I’ve been baking with Hughes for like 7 years now and I haven’t had any issues. I don’t know what you people expect from a bank but apparently you want to be served on a gold platter and to kiss the ground you walk on. This baking institution is great thank you for being local.

      If you want to do Business with a Financial Institution do not expect Hughes to be able to be professional or have he ability to assist you in any way. It will take you 4 phone calls 6 transfers to talk to someones voicemail and then you WILL NOT receive a phone call back. You will call each and every phone number you can find until you can finally speak to someone who will not be able to do anything for you and will begin transferring you again and again you will not be able to talk to anyone. Will never recommend or use Hughes again would rather have giant corporate banks that actually have people to answer phone calls and assist people.

      I have been with Hughes for 7 years. And today I am not able to find out my balance, it's 7pm on a Thursday night. Their website is down because it's end of the month, their 24/7 service can't look up the balance, the ATMs say request denied after I try to look it up. I have absolutely no way to look at my account and that is horrible customer service!

      Incompetent. I've had exactly three experiences with Hughes, all of which went poorly. 1) We went through a home loan approval process with Hughes. They took far too long and we were approved by another lender before Hughes got back to us. 2) A Hughes member wrote me a check which I deposited into an account at another credit union. Hughes did not clear the check fast enough even though there was sufficient funds in the account. The other bank assumed the check bounced and charged me $40. 3) I purchased a car from a Hughes member and Hughes still had a lein on the car. I paid the owner, they paid off the loan, and we filled out paperwork with a Hughes employee and notary. The owner gave Hughes power of attorney to release the title to me. Hughes mailed me the title but not the supporting power of attorney documentation. This didn't seem right to me, so I went to Hughes and was reassured that I could take the title to the DMV and register the car. That was incorrect, so now I need to track down the car's previous owner and have them notarize the title. Based on these experiences, I would never recommend anyone open an account there.

      tried to make a payment for my daughter-in-law while her & my son were on their honeymoon, 6 times I was put on hold for over 45 minutes!!!!!! finally I had to take off work & drive down to the wetmore location. they were less than friendly & helpful, so now the payment is late. I don't have an account & frankly will never do business with them ever again. they act like it is my privilege to be in their bank, instead of being their privilege to serve me. this is not how they used to be years ago. WHAT HAPPENED?

      DO NOT USE THIS BANK!! They do fraudulent business they charged me $ 2000 more than originally agreed too. Customer Service is horrible!!!! Cant get ahold of anyone ever.
