  On August 4th, 2020, my home sustained damage to its roof and siding after a large oak tree, uprooted by tornadic winds during a tropical storm , was thrown down onto our house. Initially, my claim was fumbled and delayed and we felt service by the insurance company was poor. After delays and arguing with the company, they paid about $20,000 of the $37,000 for the replacement and repair costs that we spent to make our roof, gutters, and siding whole again. We were disappointed, but moved on. Recently, the agency ION Insurance of Cheshire CT revisited the claim before annual renewal and fought to retrieve another $19,000 to even the score for us, we were satisfied so we continued doing business with ION Insurance and they earned our business with their exhaustive effort to make it right for a reasonable customer's expectations.
