  It's one thing to have an entire staff be incompetent. It takes a special dumpster-fire of an organization to also make sure each employee is also incredibly rude. I have never dealt with a financial institution that employed so many people who know absolutely nothing, but talk back to you like they are too good for you. Run, don't walk, away from this place.

  Horrible bank. Customer service sucks, online banking sucks and the employees have an attitude. This bank is worse than one of those big banks.

  Very helpful very friendly service. This bank offers services that other banks don't offer. They go out of their way to please their customers. Totally recommend them.

  Bad service. I will not recommend David Hewin the president of the bank gave us horrible attitude we had an account before he said we couldn't open an account with them because we didn't live within 10 mile radius . I have my bank account which hasn't expired and he still couldn't open my account. We came before and all we were missing was proof of address and we come a second time and he said we needed to live within the 10 mile radius. I feel really degrated. We show proof that we had an account before he still couldn't help us

  This credit union openly discriminates against people wearing baseball hats. The branch manager told me that if I were wearing a turban or if my wife was wearing a head covering, they would not ask us to remove them and would serve us. Their claim is that it is a security risk. According to the branch manager, it's perfectly fine to walk about the lobby with a hat on but somehow, transacting with someone via a phone and monitor is a security risk. Weird.

  Came to reopen my account. I wasnt able to be helped by David Hewin the president of the bank. He said we had to live within 10 mile radius. To REopen our account. Makes no sense how did I have an account before I showed him my bank card which hasn't expired. And he still couldn't help me he said unfortunately we cant open an account when i should already be in the system Cause i have an account. He was really disrespectful he made me feel like I was just a scunt bag. Im an entrepreneur own my business i recommend yall find a new president. I sure wouldnt want to bank with yall if yall have with that attitude

  The absolute worst credit union. I have three other credit unions this one is garbage. Access is limited to your money depending on your seniority at the bank. One of their bankers misguided me creating a gap in my payments that reflected negatively on my account and the management would not own up to it and deflected. Garbage straight garbage.

  I would like to thank the Operations Manager at this location for working with me and giving me a chance as a new member and to say I really appreciate the opportunity on becoming a new member. I look forward to building a great business relationship with the Houston Highway Credit Union. I must say you guys went above and beyond my expectations considering my past history. Jeffery Atkins

  Member for decades. Too much overhead expenses resulting in new, unacceptable fees mainly being the $5/transaction shared branch fee. Since HHCU is not at a convenient location to me, at least I could use a shared branch location. Now with this new fee, I am leaving HHCU for a better (offers better savings and CD rates) CU which does not charge a shared branch transaction fee and has a much more convenient main location and also has several branches.

  Been a member at hhcu for quite a few years now and I have had several other bank accounts at the same time. Hands down hhcu is my favorite to do all of my banking needs, the only thing I am disappointed about is that you can only Mobile deposit $5,000 a month which is incredibly low with today's inflation.
