  I have always been greeted by my first name. It is so nice to see familiar faces and deal with someone that knows you. Yes I have had to wait in line at times when they are busy, but I would rather deal with happy, energetic people that I know than a bank that charges you to see a teller and charges for a reciept. I go to the Maribeau branch.

  This Branch is horrible. I’ve talked to a banker by the name of Liza. She is very rude and doesn’t care about the customers needs. I asked to speak to a manger she put me on hold then hung up on me. I definitely do not recommend opening an account here.

  Worst customer service period. Have been a member since I was 10. Apparently, to add my husband of seventeen years to my account, they have to run a credit check. “Of course we had to check your credit when you opened your account”. Says the teller. Really? When I was 10? I own multiple businesses and am selling an investment property. Was prepared to deposit a quarter million dollars into this account but instead they allowed me to close my account today with absolutely zero attempt to retain me or help in any way. Not worried about a credit check but just questioned why it would be necessary on an existing account. I was treated like I was trying to scam them by depositing money. Customer service is a real thing at most businesses. Not at Horizon.

  Horizon closed the branch in my town this year where l have business account [large supply of company checks ordered] without warning & shortly after atm was installed. Full time teller apparently didn't know or didn't want to share details of any of this happening when I asked if or when we'd get an atm. Then when l deposited check via atm since no branch anymore without 1 hr 15 min drive & l withdrew exact balance showing available it charged me $39 overdraft fee. ($100 of check was on hold - didn't show that from atm side or that overdraft would be incurred!) When l called customer service, the person said I'd get a call from the previous local teller now in customer service phone capacity apparently to resolve & 4 days=nothing. 😑 Weak - will l hear in a week? Closing the account is what makes the most sense at this point=poor customer service or the lack of it thereof...so much for trying to support local business. They clearly don't care about customers.

  HZCU is hands down the best credit union I’ve banked at. The branch staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they have great product and services, and their online banking platform seems to frequently get new features to better my experience!

  Do not do anything with this business. The are thieves. They threatened me with a $525 fine because the could not verify insurance on a rv we have finance there. We did prove we had insurance and it was dropped. Very unprofessional. We will be looking to get refinanced elsewhere. WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE......

  Who would believe that in 2021 a credit union like Horizon would only keep 4 months of transaction data online. I believe in the credit union model over banks but this is completely unacceptable. It took over 20 minutes on hold to request a copy of a check from last year.

  USBANK won’t even send a bill pay to these jokers. Are they even legit? Customer service was condescending at best.
