  Our experience with HomeTown Bank has been phenomenal. We came for the great mortgage rates and have found so much more. Every interaction I have had anyone in the bank has exceeded my expectations. The service we received from Mike Mckeever on both our mortgage and then refinance was extraordinary. He was patient with all of our questions, and took the time to clearly articulate all of our options. We could not be happier with HomeTown Bank.

  Worst experience ever with a bank. Mike and Todd at Waconia/Victoria locations, along with other leadership in this company are very shady and pushy. Customers BEWARE!!! This is not a "Home town" bank! They want to take everything from you and fee you to death, not to mention ruin your credit when they have their chance! They tried to overcharge a payoff for over $20,000 on a mortgage. Who does that???? Todd did and I have proof. I have had other financial institutions as well as legal help say SEVERAL times that they are appalled by this banks actions and lack there of for their so called "valuable customers". As the dust is settling of getting away from them, I have met others that have received the same terrible experience. Go elsewhere!

  I had an extremely poor experience as a small business owner, with Michael Orth of Hometown Bank. We worked extremely hard on our end with the bank when we experienced partnership difficulties. Never missed a payment on our loan, or anything else that would lead to what they did to us. When Covid hit, I was told they wouldn't be helping us apply for the PPP. These were much needed funds for us, and Hometown's refusal to help us put us in a huge bind. Worst of all, they wouldn't even tell us this directly - it was excuse after excuse, and frankly very shady. Luckily we were able to find a different bank at the 11th hour to help us out. If you are a business owner, I would avoid doing business with Hometown Bank and Michael Orth at all costs.

  They do a great job taking care of the customers. I can always count on Mike Mckeecer with any of my financial needs! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a personable experience or wants reassurance that they will be taken care of. Always great to see them active in the community as well!

  The team at HomeTown is so easy to work with. They are attentive and responsive whenever I have a question or a need. It is always nice to speak to a real person on the phone and not an automated message.

  Used to have a good relationship with Hometown in general, but they've dropped off in recent times. Trust me, DO NOT use a debit card from this bank. I've been locked out of my card trying to get gas for heaven's sake. Sometimes it gets locked once a week, with no contact. Their app is very clunky and doesn't let you log in half the time. Their staff also do not listen to any of my requests to heighten the limit on the card. It's not even that high. They blatantly disregard it and I have to end up taking my banking elsewhere. Go with Old National if you want a good debit card.

  The team at HomeTown bank has built an amazing experience. From the Mocha Monkey Coffee House in their lobby to the fireplace around which the bank is built, everything speaks to service and experience. You will be only more impressed when you get to work with the team. Everyone at HomeTown Bank seems to be on the same page: provide a friendly and remarkable experience to each person who walks through their doors. If you are looking for a commercial lender, house mortgage or a place to deposit your paychecks, do not look any further. They have been great to me.

  A year ago we decided to consolidate 2 different checking accounts that we held for years at other banks to HomeTown Bank and could not be happier with the move. From the first time I walked through the door they welcomed me like I was apart of their family. They even have a great program to get all your automatic payments switched over to your new HomeTown checking account which saved a ton of time. The bank building itself is awesome, with Mocha Monkey on site it is a great place to just come hang out by the Fireplace or have a business meeting. I would highly recommend HomeTown Bank to anyone looking to make a change, you won't be disappointed.

  We refinanced our business loans to Hometown Bank. They made the process easy and hassle free. They are not like other banks we've worked with in the past. They actually want your business and it shows in how Mike and the staff treats you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

  HomeTown bank has been very good to us! We recently moved to the area and it has been a great transition of banks. We love the app, their service, and timely manner in all areas. They take the time to give you advice and answers!
