  Hometown Bank apparently financially punished an employee for speaking out about a school board member on Facebook. From what I saw in the news it appears the school board member deserved to be called out. This was extremely unfair.

  Moving banks is never easy, but HomeTown Bank made it so, and made it worthwhile. They've exceeded my expectations in every interaction. If you need a financial partner, not just another bank, consider HomeTown Bank of Shakopee.

  My 8 yr old daughter wanted to open her first savings account with Tara, so I brought her in today. She was so excited that Jessie let her put her change into the change counter. After we left she said everyone was so nice and she likes where Tara works. Thank you Hometown!

  When it comes to handling my personal finances, personal service and trust are paramount. Online banking has its place as a tool for managing my day-to-day banking needs, but nothing is more important than knowing that there is a person on the other end of the conversation or, better yet, available at the bank to help me. Hometown Bank in Shakopee is upholding the fine tradition of the local community bank. When I walk in, there is someone there to greet me. If I have to wait a couple of minutes because business is booming (that's a good thing) I can sit in front of the fireplace with a cup of "joe" and enjoy the atmosphere. Hometown in Shakopee feels just right for me.

  I would never do business with a bank with zero backbone. Shame on this cowardly bank! Probably the worst decision you could have made. You have no idea what loyalty means.

  When they lie and treat their local employees the way they have recently, I wouldn't trust them with one sent of my money. Ever. "Hometown" bank? Yea, not so much.

  Left Wells Fargo and decided to check out HomeTown Bank as it's close to me. Wish I would've made the move sooner! Top notch service and always pleasant to work with!!

  This bank does not support the constitution and first amendment right of their employees, and likely not those of people who bank here. Do not support dictators that think they can rule over things that have nothing to do with them. #FREESPEECH

  They let unrelated organizations influence their employment decisions rather than focus on results. I could never bank there in good conscience.
