  It was truly a pleasure having Nancy assist us in our first home purchase. She made a daunting task seem like a breeze. The whole process was exhausting, but the money part, which we thought would be the most stressful, she made seem easy.   I had the privilege of working with Nancy Gascoyne. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for all the hard work she did for us! She was always there to answer my phone calls and my millions of questions and I never got the impression that I was a burden on her already very busy day. I could tell by the tone in her voice that she really enjoys helping people and that meant the world to me. If it weren't for Nancy, we would not have gotten the house we did. She really saved the day with a last minute change that saved us a LOT of headaches and money. Working with Nancy and Homestead Funding made our home buying process so much less stressful.   I was with Homestead for a year and a half. I literally had to ask Nancy for a pre-Qual letter more than three times. She returned my email Saying to “wait”. I told her I no longer needed her services after that and she ran a hard inquiry on my credit anyway! Also both Nancy and the real estate agent she works with did not know about a very precious $10,000 first time home owner grant. This literally could have made the biggest difference in my looking for a home. If you are looking for a lender make sure you get a lender who knows what they’re doing.

  Nancy made everything extremely easy as a first home buyer who didn’t know much about the process. She was always quick to respond if she didn’t answer which was great with all the bidding wars and how fast offers often had to be. She’s very knowledgeable and I highly recommend working with her.
