  Truly amazing experience! Thank you Stephen, Carys, Ansley, and the whole team at Homestar! As a first time homebuyer, I really had no idea what to expect. With a new construction purchase, I anticipated that it would be a long road— What I didn’t anticipate is just how much I would depend on the sheer perseverance, creativity, dedication, optimism, expertise, and advice of my lender. For 10 months, Stephen helped guide me through when to lock my rate, my options for down payments vs monthly cost, alllll the paperwork and student loan documentation, all the unexpected hurdles, and was patient with all the emotions that come with the unknown.   The Stallings Team is absolutely phenomenal! Their attention to detail, professionalism, and promptness is truly unmatched. Loan Officer Mandy, Loan Processor Stephanie, and the Underwriter were able to take on my home loan request and clear to close in under 2 weeks! They were so kind and helpful throughout the whole process! Being a Veteran, they were very knowledgeable about the VA home loan process; which made life a whole lot easier. Thank you Mr. Stallings for such a awesome experience. You all have really made my family and I dreams of being a first time home owner come true!

  Stallings Homestar Team was great to work with, they made everything easy. The process being online and much of the team being available to quickly answer questions and help made financing through them painless.   The whole entire Homestar team has been so awesome! I have been in the home buying process for a whole year. Homestar was by my side the whole entire time.   My home buying experience went smoothly with HomeStar. Homestar standards are top notch and they walk with you throughout the process. I personally loved the Homestar app and the timely emails.   First off, I would highly recommend using Stephen Shields with the Stallings team. Stephen was an absolute delight to work with. I am a Realtor and work closely with a lot of lenders and banks. From a realtors perspective Stephen did an incredible job through the entire process. We worked with a first time home buyer and Stephen was in the mix with the buyer and I the whole way. Very responsive, easy to get a hold of and on top of it from the get go. If you want a great experience with a top lender in the industry call Stephen!

  It was a pure joy working with Mandy and Stephanie. They made everything seamless when it came to closing. Mandy was readily available anytime we called to answer questions. Always pleasant and eager to help. After we closed she still reached out and said if we need anything at anytime do not hesitate to reach out to her.Each time our closing date changed she would do her best to lock our rate as to not let it change.   Purchasing a home as a first time home buyer is already a nerve wrecking experience. The most important thing is education. Stephen was extremely patient with my questions and concerns.
