Homefield Credit Union Reviews

michael kelley1Member since 1996. I had my daughter endorse a check to me and I couldn’t deposit it because she isn’t a member. The check was a college refund from a check that I originally wrote. I’ve deposited enforced out of state personal checks in the past with no issues. When you deposit a check, they wait for it to clear before you can withdraw against it anyways. There shouldn’t have been a problem. Customer service for a 26 year member was horrible.
Response from the ownerGood Afternoon Michael. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the level of service you received during your recent visit to Homefield Credit Union. As a credit union, we are highly regulated by the NCUA and must follow the guidance set forth. Additionally, credit unions are only allowed to provide certain services for existing members. Homefield CU's Market Manager, Doug Lanzillo, would be happy to speak with you directly if you would like to discuss your situation in greater detail. Doug can be reached at 508-839-5493. Thank you.

Karen Grant5We refinanced our mortgage through Homefield Credit Union. The process was straight-forward. Elaine and Doug were great to work with. They communicated well and made sure any issues were resolved so we could close on time. I found their rates to be better than others around! I’m very glad we moved to them!
Response from the ownerKaren...Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review about your experience at Homefield Credit Union. We appreciate our members and we are always happy to help in any way we can.

Danielle Desrosiers5If you are a local business looking for a loan, I can tell you that Homefield Credit Union is by far the best. As a restaurant owner, I understand that there is a higher risk getting a loan. Over two years ago I walked in their office, prepared with the documentation and financials required, to apply for a loan so I could open my cafe and Homefield made the entire process seem painless. Even after, they continuously check in to ask if they can do anything to help my business! Working with a credit union is very important to me and they exceeded all my expectations! Thank you for your focus on our community and treating me as an individual in business!!
Response from the ownerDanielle, Thank you for writing about your positive experience with Homefield Credit Union. It has been a pleasure working with you and we look forward to continuing the relationship that has been established. Happy Holidays!

Better Buisness1Whatever happened to the good old days of feeling like a valued customer back when I used to bank at Grafton credit union. Charlie B the owner would be mortified and disgusted to see what has happened to all his hard work developing a wonderful professional environment! The new homefield credit union is rampant with incompetence and NOT people or community oriented! One star is generous.
Response from the ownerWe would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about your experience at Homefield Credit Union. Feel free to call the branch at 508-839-5493 and speak with one of our Branch Managers.

Martin Dow1Good 'ol Grafton Suburban Credit Union has lost its way. Staff is largely incompetent (Ken W.) and leadership is absent. After 50 years of being a LOYAL customer, I've moved on to Digital Federal Credit Union. Best move I've made in a long time! BTW, Homefield's loans and interest rates are easily beaten by a long shot...good riddance. The last straw for me was when Lanzillo called me to ask if I would send flowers to one of the customer service representatives I upset.
Response from the ownerGood Morning Mr. Dow. We are sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience with Homefield Credit Union. We pride ourselves on our products and services, as well as the high quality standards we maintain. Due to financial privacy regulations, Homefield Credit Union cannot discuss your banking relationship via social media. Please reach out to Homefield Credit Union's VP, Market Manager Doug Lanzillo at 508-839-5493 if you would like to discuss this matter further. Thank you.

Steve Viah3I was going to open an account here today. But, I felt as if I was being pushed away when I wanted to cash a check that drawn on this bank. Now I read the reviews and can't believe how horrible they were. My decision is now made. Sorry to say, but there are plenty of other banks to choose from.

I do hope you understand that as a credit union, we are highly regulated by the NCUA and must follow the guidance set forth. Tom Alcott5I have always had great service with Homefield CU. I have been with them for many years and they are far superior to both TD Bank and Bank of America. I have accounts at all 3, but do loans through Homefield only. Not a lot of red tape, and you get to speak with actual people!!!

Phil Maniaci5My family and I have been with them for a dozen years and have had nothing but great experience with the Homefield team. Both of our children have accounts there and the staff at Homefield has always been patient and encouraging when they come in to make deposits to their accounts. Christian is especially helpful and fantastic to deal with!
Response from the ownerWe are very happy to hear about your experience! We work hard to make sure our staff fits our mission and culture. Thank you for the support and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Ben Lubeck5Always fast and thorough service, I've been banking here since I moved to Grafton over 20 years ago. Between the friendly tellers, extremely helpful management, and vast array of products/services, I'll be banking here until I physically can't anymore!
Response from the ownerThank you so much for your kind words, Ben. We, at Homefield Credit Union, count ourselves lucky to have members like you. Best wishes for a happy holiday season!
