  I am a very happy return client! Initially I was a first time home buyer and now I just recently completed my refinance. Jim always takes the time to explain the processes, provide options and offer straightforward advice. I had tons of questions and anxieties about making these major financial transactions and he never made me seem like a bother. Jim really does treat his clients with honesty and respect, something that is hard to find in the financial world. I appreciate his down to earth attitude and really helpful advice.   We worked closely with Brad Harding and his team. The home buying experience can, and is, very stressful. But Brad and his team made the experience as relaxing and care free as possible. Any questions we had Brad and his team were very quick to answer, even after business hours or on weekends if they could. Because of Brad and his team at Home State Bank we were able to get the interest rate we needed to be in the forever home we searched so long for.

  I recently refinanced from Home State Bank with Brad Harding. I was very satisfied with the ease of the process from beginning to end, even in a pandemic. I would recommend Brad because we have gone through this process before and it wasn’t always as smoothly done. Also I would add that I am not adept at computers and they helped me through it step by step. Also his team is very nice and helpful .

  Brad Harding handled the original mortgage on my current home a decade ago. It was a good experience for us at that time. He was a good communicator and patient w/ answering my questions. So, I trusted him and reached out to him when I was considering a refinance to shorten the loan duration and take advantage of lower rates in late 2020/early 2021. He and his team, especially Karla Higgens, were helpful with getting me through the refinance process. And, when I had questions to others at HSB over the last decade and had to call for help, I generally had a good experience relative to the professionalism of those who responded to my questions. One area for possible improvement for HSB - the website wasn't quite as user friendly as I'd like (for example, I had trouble when trying to login to check/change my auto-payments although I could login to their website and see loan status/past payment info). Overall though my experience with HSB was quite positive.

  I've worked with Brad Harding on investment property purchases, mortgage refinances, and more. The helpful HSB staff and smoothness of the process keep me coming back. I would definitely recommend working with Home State Bank they give people the attention and help that you just don't get from say Chase or BMO Harris.

  If you haven't gone through a mortgage process in a while it can be intimidating! However, my experience with Homestate Bank and Brad Harding was extremely painless and down to earth. All through the process Brad and his staff were there to guide my husband and myself through an otherwise overwhelming experience that just felt effortless. Jenelle was extremely patient in her approach and follow through in obtaining and capturing the necessary documents needed to finally close!! I would recommend Homestate Bank to all those who's time is money and where relying on others is paramount!!
