  As a first time homebuyer, thinking about the process of purchasing a property was overwhelming...but Brian McCarthy was there to help! His quick responses to all of my questions and concerns showed his great communication skills and knowledge in the field of Real Estate. In the phase of looking at multiple properties, he showed great attention to detail and gave a feeling that he wasn't in it just for the business but really wants his clients to be happy with their decisions. I now have a house that I can call a home! All of my future endeavors in renting or purchasing property will be accompanied by Brian!

  Had an amazing experience with one of the most dedicated agents I have ever met. Georgianna went above and beyond at every turn to sell my mother's condominium after she passed away. I was completely clueless as to the entire process and she assisted me with, or performed herself, every necessary detail. She is truly a one woman tornado!   My husband and I bought a house in CT for our family. Home selling team made it really easy. They explained everything really well, told me the proper steps go take and everything that I needed. After buying the house I received a beautiful gift in the mail with a picture of my family in front of our new home. Would recommend them to anyone!

  I'm moving from the UK to Connecticut, to take up a position at UConn, and after emailing a pretty routine enquiry to HST, started talking more with Brian McCarthy about our needs (deciding between buying a house, or buying land and building) and how to proceed. Brian is incredibly proactive (when I first emailed that enquiry, he googled me to find out some background about me) and the ongoing process of finding somewhere appropriate has been both painless and enjoyable. He has what seems like endless patience, and excellent advice (I have, to be honest, 'validated' that advice by talking to others I know at UConn). When we visited, he drove us around a ton of properties, and is now really well 'calibrated' to what we're looking for. I cannot recommend him enough. He's made the whole experience of moving country considerably less daunting. He has access to all the properties that I can see on other websites, as well as an ear to the ground and a list of all sorts of useful contacts. Having talked with some other Realtors, as well as with friends and future colleagues at UConn, I feel really lucky to be working with Brian. I would recommend using him and his team to anyone who is moving to UConn (or the surrounding area).

  There are many realtors to choose from but the professionalism of HST is unapproachable. Their attention to detail and knowledge of the area by statistical analysis makes them stand out above all others. They know the market and they know how to sell houses. When you're ready to buy or sell I would highly recommend Sue Esposito from HST.

  Very good at what they do, had the house sold before it went "live". Just wish who ever they got the appraiser for could do the house for which we are buying now...lol.
