  We bought our house in the summer of 2019 and Home Mortgage Specialists was fantastic at making sure that we understood the process, had the right documentation, and found us the best loan that worked for us. It made the process so much better having professionals do the research for us. In 2020 we then refinanced and they once again helped us.

  I first received Nathan’s business card from a realtor at an open house. I then called him to discuss my options. My credit score was very low and he Explained to me the minimum requirements, and gave me some advise on how to make my credit better. 10 months later I had increased my credit score by over a hundred points and am now living in my own house. Thank you Nathan and Veronica for helping me through this entire process.

  I had the pleasure of working with the awesome team at Home Mortgage Specialists, Inc. and they definitely get the job done! Being a first time home buyer I needed all the help I could get. Nathan and Veronicah did a great job of answering all of my questions and making sure ALL of my paperwork was done correctly and ready to go. They walk you through every process and even help you find the best deals specific to your loan. My process took a bit longer than anyone of us anticipated but that was out of our control (who buys a house in December? I do, because apparently I enjoy unnecessary stress). At the end of it all, I just provided the documents and they made it work. Highly recommend this company for your home buying process.

  I have been buying, selling and refinancing rental properties in central Illinois for the past 22 years.
