      So incredibly disappointed with this branch. Be careful to work with Cody. He gave serious mis-information about investing in a CD and related penalties. It cost my husbands family $6,000. This bank does not care about long-term relationships with its customers.

      Thank you for your feedback and, yes, there is a 3% penalty fee imposed when a cd is cashed in prior to maturity date. This may be harder to accept if you are not the person who originally opened the cd but penalties are standard. This is not only in the agreement, but also was thoroughly explained before you took this action - as were options on how to avoid the penalty.
