  Matt is GREAT at what he does! He walked my wife and I through the home buying process being we’re first time home buyers. Communicated very well to make sure we were comfortable and prepared for the next step of the loan process. He is very knowledgeable and we will definitely recommend him for friends and family.   The service we received with Highland HomeLoans was phenomenal. My Husband and I were Blessed to Justin Nutgrass as our Loan Originator and we are thankful that we him on our side every step of the way to closing. Our Family is now in a safe and beautiful home and we thank God for having such amazing people working with us. Amazing interest rates!!!

  Matt was so great to work with! He made my first time buying experience great. He explained every detail of this process very well. Very patient and knowledgeable guy! He was able to meet my end number in closing costs and interest rate!

  Worst mortgage experience we've had with many problems along the way. I waited to write this review until my initial frustration wore off. But 6 months later, I still think our experience was bad enough to warrant a 2-star review. They rescheduled our closing and forgot to update their own calendar. So as we loaded our moving truck, we found out we would not be closing on time (by their admitted fault). This was after I made multiple calls the previous week to make sure we were on track for closing. Other problems: Unresponsive, disorganized, we had to submit the same documents 2 or more times because they didn't check their faxes, etc. Just a bad, bad experience overall. We love the home but would NOT want to use their loan department again.

  Fast friendly service you can count on. As an Army Veteran, I can sincerely appreciate their ability to understand and execute a VA Home Loan. The quality of their staff speaks volumes just as the quality of their homes. If you buy a home and are a Veteran, and you don't consider Highland Home Loans, you are omitting the strongest card in your deck.

  My wife and I could not be more happy with the choice we made to go with Matthew Brewer for our loan. We in no way are ‘experts’ when it comes to closing on a home, even with this being the third home we’ve purchased. But when you have dealt with three different loan officers, you have a good sense of what to look for, and Matt truly met all we desired. He kept his communications very simple, was also very thorough in his explanations and simple to understand for the ‘ common man’, as well as timely with no delay on getting all the documents over for the e-signatures required. Definitely check this guy out if you’re wanting a simple and easy closing on your next purchase!
