  Tristan truly made our mortgage experience a breeze! Compared with a previous mortgage experience that was awful, Tristan was excellent and went above and beyond from day 1. His team was quick when reviewing documents, we received communications frequently, Tristan and Thrive sent a sweet packet in the mail with "moving/house buying goodies" and best of all we closed on time!   Tristan and his team have helped my wife and I on two occasions. First time was when we bought the house, and second when we re-financed our house. Buying or re-financing a house is a fairly stressful period of time for the homeowner. However, Tristan made the process as smooth and fast as possible. He was always available to answer any questions that came up and clarified any confusion for us. Lastly, he kept us up to date every step of the way.   Tristan was awesome to work with easy to get a hold of when we wanted to speak and took his time to explain and answer all of our 10,000 questions. It felt like my husband and I were a high priority, although I know full well he juggles many clients at once you would seriously never know. We knew the exact type of mortgage we wanted and there was no pressure to do anything other than what we had asked for. Like any great business person he did show us alternative options, In the end we decided to go with a combination of products which suited our needs best. Tristan even showed up on closing day!   My husband and I are first-time homeowners and we decided to build our first home. We definitely were coming from a place that we didn’t know where to start or what options were right for us. Luckily, our realtor recommended Tristan to us and we began talking to him a year before we started building on our home. Tristan was phenomenal at meeting us where we were and helping us come up with a game plan on how we could maximize and improve some overall things to get the best possible loan. He also is very transparent through the whole process and realistic on what options can be done. My husband and I are so thankful for this because after following his advice, we actually had a lower rate and lower closing costs than initially expected. He definitely will steer you in the right direction and has the experience to give you solid advice. The whole Great Western team is extremely quick to respond and communicate information. My favorite thing about Tristan is how knowledgeable he is about the loan process and then sharing that information in an individualized way to serve his client’s needs. I am the type that I ask a lot of questions and want to fully understand something before I agree to it or sign it. I never got the impression that Tristan didn’t have time to walk me through things or was inconvenienced by explaining things in more detail to me. He always wanted me to fully understand and be comfortable with something before we moved forward with it. He also provided tools and resources that we did not experience with other lenders. He will give you charts and graphs with different loan options and the longevity of those options and how they will overall impact you financially. As someone who is visual, this was so helpful to see and know what loan option was best for us. When it comes down to it, Tristan and his team really have your best interest in mind. Whatever situation you are in, they will work with you and find you the best options so that you can buy the best home.

  Tristan Sherrill from Great Western Home Loans has made our loan approval process for our house purchase amazingly easy! My wife and I were researching whether to plan obtaining our home loan through a big bank or another entity. My brother mentioned that he went through a big bank and the loan approval process was an extremely lengthy and tedious process, since to the bank he was nothing but a number as they have 1000's of applicants for home loan approvals. With the sellers requesting a 30 day close for the house, our realtor introduced us to Tristan, and mentioned if anybody can do it under this time-crunch it would be him. Going with Great Western Home Loans was the best decision we made. Tristan was able to get all the needed paper work to complete this process fast and efficiently. Underwriting can be one of the most frustrating parts of finalizing a home loan, however Tristan anticipated what the underwriters needed in advance and informed us what exactly to submit so once the time came we would be prepared. I believe the key to making this process smooth is to consistently be in touch with your home loan officer and get the required documents in quick upon request. Tristan also has a great team, which work in sync and coordination with him to finalize this process. The sellers wanted a smooth and quick close, and Tristan was able to deliver that without a doubt! He even showed up to our closing session at the title company in case there were any questions or complications.   Tristan Sherill and his staff were extremely amazing! We were set up to meet with Tristan immediately.   I have consulted with Tristan at YourLoanPro several times over the years. He and his team are very helpful and professional. Until recently, Tristan advised me not to refinance my mortgage based on rates and options available at those times. You don’t come across people or companies that provide honest advice when they are selling you a service. Thanks to Tristan and the team at YourLoanPro, we were able to refinance our mortgage from a 30 year note to a 15 year note. The process was very easy and completely online (except for signing the closing documents). The tools they use are what I would consider “state of the art”. Tristan was able to show me everything I needed to know about my options including the pros and cons of each. They were very easy to understand and made my decision making simple. Included in the response was a personalized video from Tristan that walked me through all the information.
