  Helms Mortgage was amazing to work with from beginning to end. Kathryn Bornac eased our minds and answered all of our questions as first time home buyers/first time lenders. They shopped a variety of options to get us the best rate and provided helpful advice when beginning a home loan. Everyone that we worked with was highly knowledgeable, quick to respond and professional. We will always use Helms Mortgage and would recommend them time and time again.

  We’ve refinanced our home more than once. I can’t express how much easier it is refinance with the Helms Mortgage team! Most of the work can be completed on their secure website. They use DocuSign which eliminates the need to sign in person for the entire process until closing. And when we weren’t certain on a couple of things, they were readily available to talk. And of course, we are very happy with our new interest rate and how much it is saving us.

  Helms Mortgage did a great job with our new home closing. We bought a new build house which was delayed in construction, so the last few days before closing were very hectic. Helms had everything ready quickly at the last minute and made the closing process so easy.

  Kathryn Bornac was my guide and mentor while arranging the mortgage for my new condominium. I could not have been in better hands. She never once lost patience with me even though I ask a lot of questions; she had answers to all my questions and was good about explaining unfamiliar terms. I had worked with someone else at a different firm before switching to Helms Mortgage. The other company had me fussing and worrying all the time. Once Kathryn took over, I started breathing easier and sleeping at night. You can't do better than Kathryn Bornac!
