  My experience with this bank has been outstanding. They provided a loan to our Fraternity, we have a bank account there as well. Any interactions with any of their employees, from the tellers in the banks, to the loan officers to the President (yes I have spoken with Mr. McComb) have always been nothing short of professional and helpful.   Over several years, I have received outstanding service from Heartland Bank for my personal and business banking. Personable, professional relations with tellers and managers really make Heartland stand out. Recently, AVP and Branch Manager Alison Lathey assisted with obtaining resources for my business. Her communication and attention to detail made the process go smoothly - and in record time. Highly recommended!

  Heartland bank positions itself as a hometown community bank in its marketing and commercials. It operates in a very different manner, when a situation arises, the employees focus more on being “right” than actually resolving the issue that works best for all parties. Do not be fooled by the ads, Heartland Bank is no different than any other bank.

  Horrible experience. Waiting on my llc paperwork and don’t want to open an account until I get it. They charged me $8 a piece for the check to cash, where any other location has never charged me for EACH check, only the $8 fee because I only came once. Held the check to save the $, only for them to take it anyway. I won’t be coming back to this location.
