  I switched to Heartland for my small business banking needs because I wanted the personal service of a smaller bank. In our first meeting, the branch manager offered to introduce us to others in our industry and took a genuine interest in our business. In short, he did more for us in the first 24 hours of being a customer than our previous small business banker ever did.

  My daughter just opened her first bank account there last week. She is 16 and just got her first job. I had to be on the account with her because of her age. The bank is beautiful, brand new and very inviting. There is free Keurig coffee, hot chocolate, and tea in the lobby. The staff there are trained in all operations so you never have to wait for a teller or a loan officer to be available, everyone who works there can do it all. The young man that helped us was super helpful, explaining everything about the bank, the account my daughter was opening, how to go online and set up the online banking, how to use their mobile app, etc. She signed up for free checking, no fees and no minimum balance. A great first banking experience!

  Kemper and Brett have been great to work with for our business needs. We have a checking account, mortgage and consolidation loan. They were great to work with on implementation and is going great a year later with our day to day servicing.

  Rude. Would not tell me if I accidentally left without my bank card. Just said they would destroy it if I had. I was told it's another company that takes my card and would not even tell me who the company is that takes it.

  Do not get any services from Heartland Bank, you will regret if you do so.
