      DO NOT GET A VEHICLE WITH THIS COMPANY. I purchased my first vehicle at this Mitsubishi car lot. Within my first week of having the vehicle it was in the shop. I needed new rotors and brakes for the front and back. The AC also does not work. I’ve had a hard time speaking to anyone about the situation and I wanted my money back for the work done and the parts that I had to pay for. They refused to give me my money back for getting the work done however I live in Fairfield and I was not going to drive back to Hayward with bad brakes. I really regret purchasing my first vehicle with this car lot.I’ve had the Toyota Highlander for two months and he still in the shop to this day I’ve been having problems with it ever since I’ve got it so I definitely would not recommend coming to the shop especially if you have a family

We have done a complete service to this car including brakes prior to selling you the car. You stated that "someone" told you that the brakes are not good without being able to provide us a written statement from a certified 3rd party and you refused to drive it to us because as you stated, you live far. To show you good faith, we reimbursed you for the "cost of parts" that your husband bought and that he wanted to install himself. Not sure, how are we wrong here? As always, we appreciate your business. We hope you reconsider this harsh review as it is not a true statements of the facts.

      Update: Even though I know Hayward Mitsubishi has my number, I called as they requested in their reply here. After the person answering the phone transferred me around to several extensions, I landed on a voicemail box with no name attached, and left a message. No one from Hayward Mitsubishi has called me back. We were shopping for a specific type of truck, and unfortunately this need fell right as COVID really took off, making it difficult for us to travel out of state to find one. Ultimately, I found a truck that 100% fit our needs, and emailed Hayward Mitsubishi. The sales person I started with was helpful, and together we worked through my local credit union being slow (also due to COVID), and figured out that shipping the truck would be the best way to close the deal, rather than us trying to fly or one way rent a car. At his point, several other people from Hayward Mitsubishi became involved in the process, and I began receiving texts from different numbers without any introduction. It took weeks for the shipping to be arranged, and when the truck finally arrived, parts critical to the vehicle were missing, plus the torque converter and/or valve body failed after only 80 miles of driving. I contacted Hayward Mitsubishi back on the numbers I had been texting with, and was simply ignored. According to my local dealer, the code for the transmission failure had been recently cleared, so Hayward Mitsubishi was fully aware of the issue, and sold a truck with a known defect. Had I tried to drive this truck home, it would have left us stranded, perhaps that is why the sales person suggested shipping, to be sure the truck at least arrived at its destination while pawning off a known problematic truck on a customer from out of state.

      Purchasing my new car at Hayward Mitsubishi was an absolute pleasure. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible in accommodating my busy schedule, and always available to answer my questions. Not once did I feel any pressure to buy the car. The whole purchasing process and paperwork was super smooth and took less than half an hour. The manager (Ayman) is a very nice and trustworthy guy.

      100% dissatisfaction. Twice I looked for workshop service. At first, when they tried remove a parts, they broke it and tried blame it on another dealership in the service they had done previously and still charged me for the added hours. The second, I made one appointment, left my car there at 8:30 am to make diagnostics to determine a certain defects. 11:30am they call me to report that they need more time, because there were several problems. 3:30 pm, they call me again to report that they had to suspend the diagnosis due a battery problem (low charge) and could only continue when I bought another battery, I would even accept the suggestion to buy the battery, however after my car spend 7 hours in the place, I felt very disappointed and offended. For sure at Hayward Mitsubishi I WILL NEVER BE BACK 😡
