  My husband and I had an appointment with Joe and Steve on Feb 17th to make some important decisions about our retirement plans, as well as get some much-needed advice on how to manage our current budget situation. I was feeling a bit uneasy before the appointment because I didn't really know what to expect and didn't want to feel judged. My husband and I are both in our late 40's and had been feeling like our retirement plans were severely lacking a.... plan. Joe and Steve quickly put all of our worries aside. They made us feel very comfortable by being very laid-back and non-judgmental. The conversation was easy-going and more like a few friends talking. They made some sense of some investments that I had made when I first started working over 20 years ago, and explained all of our options moving forward.   We came to Harford Retirement Planners confused and feeling defeated. We had been working with another advisor for over two and had nothing to show for it. Joe and his team looked at our goals and future plans then explained how our money could be working better for us. We were grateful that we didn’t feel pressured to change anything but instead we’re educated on what would be more beneficial for our family.
