Hancock Whitney Bank Reviews

VC1WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! When there is a bank on every corner in Houston, take your money elsewhere. Their lobby is empty and no customers. WONDER WHY!? You can stand there for days and noone would come to help 12/08/21 @ 2:45pm CST. Management should review the staff on the cameras

Chazzer Smith2Bank employees are always awesome but its very inconvenient to be closed on a Saturday. Also money transfers, for some reason take forever. Their app isn't very good either.

Houston Café Business Manager1Incompetent idiots at best. Carrey Bonner can't tell a dog from a horse. She opened a business account that was later closed for no apparent reason which caused great distress for my business. She blamed everyone else and contradicted herself repeatedly with numerous lies. She is indubitably not competent to be a banker. Customer service is as worse. I received a generic letter with no details as to why the account was closed. Carrey then decides she would just say anything to make herself seem competent but she still contradicted herself too much to trust anything she says. Do not do business with Hancock Whitney Bank. This location is ridiculous! Consumers know your rights!

Delta Tank5We’ve been banking with Whitney Bank, now Hancock Whitney for as long as I could remember upwards of 20 years. Personalized, first class service is all we have ever received. Annette Miranda has helped us since the beginning, and she is still our go-to person to this day.
Response from the ownerWe love to hear this! Thanks so much for your feedback and 5-star review.

Blake Meisner1Took an insurance check in as it had myself and mortgage co. (Whitney) i was told they didn’t have a stamp in HOUSTON to endorse back to me,and that it would have to be sent to New Orleans to have that done. Said ok, and waited over 2 weeks and didn’t here a peep,so i called an apparently they had been trying to get in touch with me for something minor,bu your telling me they didn’t have a phone number or anything on me to get a hold of me, they could have mailed me a letter,as they mail me my monthly bill. Horrible,if i could switch i would, starting to think about it now.
Response from the ownerI'm very sorry to hear about your recent experience. We aim to always provide 5-star service.

Joseph Santos1Worst experience ever. Sent me a promotional mailer to open a business checking account with a $400 bonus. Come in to close the account, and I am told I will be charged $20 to close it. CSR Rico lies to my face, claiming he never represented that the promo was valid when I opened the account. He had specifically asked to confirm my address information so I "wouldn't have issues receiving my promotion." I bank with BofA, Chase, and Capital One as well as with a credit Union. All are better options. Work on your communications and professionalism before soliciting deposits, Hancock Whitney.
Response from the ownerI am very sorry for your experience and I have passed on your comments to that financial center manager. It is our hope to provide you with 5 star service each time you visit and I am sorry that we fell short of this.

Paul Simonetti5I only used the outside ATM machine. As such, I can't say much except I like the architecture. Conveniently located too.
Response from the ownerThank you for your 5 star feedback!

Abbas R1Went to open a bank account, the lady who was shuffling through files asked us to have a seat, kept doing her work and then starting friendly chatting in her cube with a person who entered after us. We left after sitting for 20 minutes. Thanks, I'll take my money elsewhere.
